How to install a inline fan

Ok so this is what I've been doing for the last month. i grow outside during the day and put my plants in the tent a night. and yes the tent is outside too. so i run a 1k hps light but i don't have an inline fan yet, bunt i was wondering when i get one how do i hook it up. do i just pull in air from the outside go thru the light and straight outside? or do i just have the fan on the inside of the tent the go thru the light straight outside. i don't need any filters cause its outside and I'm not worried about any neighbors smelling it. I've seen other setups but mine is ran a lil different so I'm trying to figure out the best way to cool the inside down a lil bit.

You don't need to keep switching when you got lights.. Keep them under one or the other to save the hassle. The tent is outside? What's the point in a tent when it's outside? 1k hps do you got a cool tube? I hope so... If so you just do filter,ducting,fan,ducting,cool tube,ducting to wherever u want. Your not worried about people smelling it? That goes back to what's the point in the tent...? Only way to cool is hot air out, cool air in.

well this grow is a lil different than everyone else. I'm doing outside in the sun and in the tent. I'm saving money on electric. I've been doing this for a month and it seems to be working. the only reason i got the tent is cause i got 2 big tents 5 1k lights and r.o system for 300.00. i just want to know how if i should vent thru the light and thats it or do i need to vent more. i was just thinking of venting thru the light only to keep heat down. you can see my grow diary if u want to c what I'm doing. i know it sounds weird what I'm doing but I'm trying something different.
