Size Of Carbon Filter For 3x3x6 Jardin Tent

600w air cooltube. want to run everything inline nothing outside of the tent. any sugguestions on what size fan/filter i should use for about 12plants in a sea of green style grow to almst gurantee no smell? sound is not that much of an issue but the more quit the better.

3x3 for 12 plants damn! good luck with that. as far as no smell, that also depends on the strain your growing I know White widow and ak47 will kick a filters ass while most northern lights, blue mistic, Violator Kush, Blue cheese are easy to control.
The Violator Kush is really nice if you only have 6 foot of hight with your light your down to about 4 foot, VC stays short not much odor but is ungodly strong bad ass smoke.
Filters I use 2 of these http://www.hydrofarm.com/product.php?itemid=8478 Now as far as blowers the quietest one I have found is http://www.greners.com/i/fans-ventilation-filters/products/inline-fans-blowers/sunleaves-windtunnel.html the worst was a CanAir blower it sounded like a jet in my grow room.

3x3 with 12 plants could be hard to handle, not sure of the size pots, Im guessing around 2L's?

I have the same tent you do, run the fan and filter inside, the carbon filter is around 13 inches by around 9 inch diameter. It has been doing a great job, I'll post a pic below of how its set-up.

With my current setup I have 4, two gallon hempy buckets they are about 12 inches high, by 10 inch diameter. I could let my canopy get to about 36-40 inches from soil MAX, with air cooled hood and fans constantly going.

The inline fan hangs around 12 inches down, so I lose a foot there, & I could keep my light almost 10-12 inches from the canopy.

As to how long to veg, depending on strain that you choose to run, indicas are preferred, or more indica leaning hybrids that stay low.

If you want them to end out being 3 feet tall, then flip around 12 -18 inches predicting a 50% stretch until you know what strains and phenos you are working with. Some sativas could stretch 75% or even triple so be careful choosing strain.

It's more about matching your carbon filter to your extraction fan CFM. If you are running a 6" inline fan at say around 450cfm then you
want to match your filter within 50-75cfm.

Really depends on the strain but Id say 4 to 6 max. I do 15 in a 8x4 and they end up really packed in there by late flowering, I take off some water leafs in late flowering 4th week to help with light, also adding a few CLF lights under the plants helps a lot in SOG.

Liddle I really think you should go with 6 topped Violator Kush plants with a 3 week veg.. think thats the best setup for what you doing.

PS I have my filters outside the box as they are so damn big the ones I run, but I dont vent my air outside it stays in the house in the winter but there's no smell at all, with filters the bigger the better. I like to go with filters rated 2 to 3 times the CFMs of my blower.

Where do you get the VK from?And If i WSere to run a 200cfm inline get a 400cfm filter for it?

Also I'd start with 8 plants with VK you always have a odd ball or two, this way you could toss out the odd ball or two and still have a good 6.

VK is strong weed but dose not have a real strong smell thats one of the reasons I told you about it..

VK is a strong forgiving plant topping is no problems

Yep 4 weeks from sprouts. I top each plant once at the 2nd or 3rd node if they still look to small after 4 weeks go longer in veg. The VK dose not stretch much going into flowering around a foot maybe.
