2 and a half weeks to soon! U had mold and budrot from caterpillar damage? They might not have lasted that long with all those problems!
I have no fuckin clue what I had lol it was literally an area the size of a quarter that was brown, so I chopped it off, but every was like "harvest now harvest now!!!" So I fuckin did it and this is the result haha I honestly don't think it was that serious tho, because that area was brown for like a week and I didn't touch it and nothing changed. I'm not to bummed tho, this was merely a practice run for me so I won't fuck anything up for next grow.

If everyone said to chop early, shame on us. I mean if your plants were getting fukin killed by pillers and mold, fine. Chop em. Better early than moldy. But you can usually keep his under control until harvest. Tweezers and BT being the weapons of choice....lol I lost most of my colas, but toughed it out with my two biggest plants. It's been 3 weeks in the jar and just smoked a doob. Let me tell you, it was well worth the extra work. :weed:

It's best to just dry it right and start your cure. Also people stop putting good bud in the freezer.

Yeah, curing is done better if the buds are dried right. Can escape from fungus attacks if dried right and allowed to breathe every 24 hours when curing.

jorge cervantes h202 bath really opened my eyes with mold. water and air doesnt do much to buds. i have plants in g.house and outdoors and started getting rot in august from budworms "hard to find" and held plants until oct or nov with a torch. i torch all rot and leave alone all else now. better then any methods including cutting it out after foliar spraying anything in my experience. i have washed plants for yrs to remove dirt from nasty storms. drying correctly is the best but when you are trim 2-3 months a yr can get behind. my buds are high % of thc except my cbd stuff

why do i like h202? the speed. mold i find takes hrs of smothering moisture and when i do a light mist of h202 in 1hr then dry again it will not mold. normally dont get much mold growing but this yr was rainy foggy and cold. lots of catpillars, moths and budworms. i dont get any mold after harvesting. rhino your quick dry will b smoother after rehydration. gd luck next yr

The majority of the potent medical grade on the shelves here on the shelves in CA has never been cured. It gets cut down. Dried enough to be trimmed, trimmed, put in a bag overnight, dried again, bagged up, sold. Cut down and consumed in about 2 weeks. Doesn't seem to affect it's smell or taste at all.....
I did not know this. It doesn't sound right to me, but I have no familiarity with dispensaries or their growers, so I can't really argue though.

What he stated is absolutely true. Maybe not all the buds at the dispensaries but a lot. How do I know? I know several growers that supply dispensaries. I know growers that trim their buds down to individual buds before drying thus drying them much faster, usually 5 days. After 5 days the the stems inside the buds snap and are dry enough to smoke easily.
