If DG foliage pro has the best NPK ratio, why do you have to use so much pro-tekt (potassium silicate) to fix the pH? It could be a coincidence, but had they added slightly more potassium, you probably wouldn't need the pro-tekt. Was this designed in on purpose to get people to buy a second bottle?
I'm convinced that silicates are a fad, and that it's the potassium in silicate products that make all the observable difference. Would you not get the exact same results adding potassium hydroxide (KOH) instead of potassium silicate?
