Harvest early or wait

There is two BC God Bud plants, they look fantastic and are in day 49 of flowering under a 1000 watt hps(brand new). They are both in soil and have been receiving full strength technaflora nutrients until 3 days ago when they have just been receiving water. The 60-100x radio shack magnifier as used and it appears that most trichomes are cloudy, with only a few clear and a few amber. They will be left alone for approximately 7 days starting this Saturday, they will have blumats but it will be the first time using those. Is it worth it to leave it for the week or should they be harvested in 3 days before they would be left alone?

Any input would be great appreciated, thank you!

Full disclosure - I am not a Blumat user, but I have done a lot of research on them. From what I've read, they take a bit of "fine tuning" in the beginning. As in it might not be a good idea to just set them up and leave for a week. Not too worried about harming your plants (since they are so close to the finish line) but I'd be worried about flooding out the grow space if they "run away" on you.

If they are in reasonably big pots, I'd be more inclined to give them a VERY deep watering the day you leave, and schedule your light timer to kill the lights completely on the 5th day your gone. You should come home to ripe, stanky, well-faded goodness.

this is when I usually cut them. mostly cloudy with a few ambers starting to pop up. are you going for the mostly amber trichs? cut some buddage earlier too. you may like it.

Thank you everyone for your input! It's gonna be a tough choice they would be left alone starting tomorrow so have to make the call quick.

Attached some picture sorry about the quality and looked at the trichomes on the lower bud and they still have some clear and not many amber.

i would leave them without this blu mat thing...id heavily saturate them, leave a fan breezing at them, and leave them in the dark for the week and harvest immediately when i got back..my reasoning is id be more worried about over drying and getting shitty hay buds than that last week of extra growth..what are you going to do after harvesting the job doesnt stop there?!?!
