Title says it all plant is showing slight nitrogen deficiency the first set of serrated leaves are pale pale green almost yellow and the next two set after that are slowly changing from dark green to a light green. I'm not sure if the benefits of feeding it will outweigh the potential problems of over watering.
Is it okay to fertilize if your plant doesn't need water?

The leaves become crunchy once they turn yellow I am certain it isn't over watering I wait for my leaves to droop before watering again and the container gets good drainage.
As for foliar feeding should I use half strength?

Yea half strength, fine mist as possible and only lightly spray, if they get wet you did too much..if its a severe def. The leaves may become splotchy where the droplets hit, its cool wait for it to dry bout 20 min or so and hit it again. Damaged leaves won't recover but you would be surprised what you can keep green by spraying....don't put under lights for at least 45 minutes and they must be out the light, not backed off or dimmed.......again fine mist is much more effective just going into the pores rather than large droplets snapping shut the stomata and just dripping....

No I don't, and as I said before I only water once the leaves become droopy and look lifeless.

U got nute lock out m8 the leaves turn yellow because ur ph is out so ur plants can't take the feed they need so they take it out the leaves causeing them to die an fall off basically there starving hungry m8 sort the ph out an refeed them an u will see the diffrence in days
I'm sorry but I don't see how you could possibly come to this assumption, my plants hadn't even been fed yet so how is the nutrients getting locked out? Gonna give it a foliar feeding since the dirt is moist and things should be fine.

Wait for it to dry completely. But don't let it get so dry it wilts. It will withstand wilting and recovery, but it will slow the overall process down.
If you have let it get as dry as you described, a double watering won't hurt you.
A picture would be nice.
EDIT: BTW, not all nutrients can be uptaken by foliar spray. So depending on what you decide your problem is, foliar spraying may or may not work.
