Thanks guys.

I really look forward to tasting these last-taken plants.

I was pretty patient with them. I think that it shows
in the close-ups.

It is good to have the others to enjoy while these dry.

Tonight I will get to move the remaining plants of the
next cycle into the tent. These are Blue Dream, Chemdog,
Lemon Thai Kush, Lemon Juice Express, Girl Scout Cookies,
and a sad Lemon Juice Express. (who knew that "Express"
meant "Auto"! ;0)

You know, when I am really experienced, I will probably
just grow four plants at a time. As this number can fully
develop, with good side exposure, in my size of tent.

For now, I am really enjoying the variety of smoke.

I too love variety.
I always have way too many strains on my plate at a time, with different requirements.

Hey,

It occurred to me that there might be a cheaper alternative
to Cannazym available.

I have gotten a very strong impression of the work that enzymatic
products like this can do.

I found an excellent article on another site that proposed to answer
this question...and the answer was that there are "pond cleaners"
that do just this. Unfortunately, all of the links provided were dead.

So, I am looking into this, and thought to air the matter out.

For example, this product might be very interesting if used as
a components of a soil being cooked, one with a lot of veg matter.

a jar up into my outdoor garden soil pile.

The soil gurus first response was to look into bokashi.

Well, the new ladies were sprayed down with Spinosad and
put into the tent:


BTW, in spraying my Veg closet, this little moth flew out of the plants:

It was just hit with spinosad, but I would like to know how its
offspring attack...are these internal, or external worms? What
to watch for?

In any case, it is dead, and the plants are sprayed, and will be
hit with the Lemon Grass Oil when it arrives.

I think that lays eggs and the resulting larve that eat buds as they grow up

Yeah, I recall outdoor growers complaining about Caterpillars.
This must be them. Not to worry, as my plants have been more
than sufficiently treated as to handle this. (but I will report if needed)

BT is waht most use for those pests, if thats what it is anyway.

Several of my other preparations use BT.

I plan on using everything in time. :0)

BTW, I lost a Blue Pit to damping off too.

This was the worst seed popping that I have ever had.
I have only lost one or two to DO so far, in all the beans
that I have popped.

I am certain that this was caused mainly by the env on
the clone table. If I do not fully flap the one side open,
or point a box fan at the corner that I usually leave up,
then the env becomes warm and moist.

No worries. I put a new bean into the Burpee tray.

I have had my worst seed experience ever as well, with 6 of 16 popping and then 2 dying.
Usually I get all to pop and never lost more than one after popping if I recall right.

It does suggest that there was some reason.

In my case, I am guessing too high heat/humidity.

It is good. The Headband is pure crystals, and sour
like its other name, and the SWOG is the same, but
with more stinky flavor. The LS Con is exotic.

I will be sampling Kosher Kush soon.

I am trying to remember the conditions I had the time all my beans were girls.
I think it was my 1st time with beans.
I was saying to myself...self, "why buy fem beans if they all are girls anyway."

Have you sampled the KK yet? My buddy gave me a sampler and I think I am in love. She has a taste similar to RP's Kandy Kush and a top notch stone.
I am in love with this bud and can't wait to throw a couple in my grow cab next round.

P.S. Oh Fuck! I thought "Kryptonite Kush" immediately.

Ha ha ha Well, the Kosher Kush is still a day or two away
from the jars. These are FAT and are taking a long time to
get even a little crispy.

This second bud is way down the stem. I was very happy with
this side effect of MLing...that light penetrates down so well.

BTW, I have been watching my young Jack's Cleaner 2, a Lemony
breed from TGA, as I have been suspecting that it is a male.

I find that males show first, but females are the only ones that
I feel confident to ID. i.e. this is to say that males are not as
obvious until they really show balls.

The anthers just make confirming a female so much easier.

...and they make IDing a male a slow confirmation of a suspicion,
as no hairs arrive over time.

Male sex parts, when very immature, look very much like new
branches and leaves....but they are often on a small stalk that
can give them away.

Unfortunately, the far sack focused, but you can see what I mean.

I am going to take pollen from this, one way or the other.

I might close off the passive intake from the Veg closet and the
flowering tent and take pollen in the closet.

I might end up with a pollen collection that will allow me to make
seeds for years, with several BB and TGA regulars that might pop
balls on me any day. :0)
