I'm soo happy! Harvest time pics!

What up. Just showing off a couple pics. I'm guesstamating but I just harvested around 4-5 ounces and have the lower buds off 2 plants to still be harvested. Hopefully going to get another ounce or 2 (we left a good amount on there). 1 whole plant that we harvested we lollipopped due to lack of room and it worked absolutely great! This was my first time lollipopping and I'm doing it with 10 clones right now. I also had to bend the LP'd plant and as you can see in the pic it worked out pretty well. Even some of the "smaller" buds are pretty fricken impressive. The one huge cola from the lolipopped plant was almost 4 ounces wet! How much do you think it will be dry?

The bud is a Big Bud seed but the LP plant I think was some random seeds they gave me cause it looks more like a sativa. Not too sure but either way I'm happy. The cola was about a foot long and as thick as my cock (I wish). Let me know what y'all think! :mrgreen:

thanks all. But what's with the 2 posts being negatives tho. I'm happy regardless. I thought plants loose something like 50-75% of there weight but we'll see. I have a box and a half of buds and more to come and more to come after that so I think I'll be ok.

hey smoky the bear, korvette is right. You're buds could have gone another two weeks or so, did you even check the trichs? It's not negative feedback just helpful advice, enjoy you're harvest!

yea, i agree, it could have probably gone another 2-3 weeks. on a side note though, and no offense meant towards you of course, but that's not a very smart statement to make. you cannot, i repeat, cannot go by the colors of the hairs when trying to determine the ripeness of a plant and when it should be harvested with any kind of steady and serious accuracy. i have seen many pictures on here or just bud i get ahold of myself, where every quality of the bud is just right, and the hairs are white as snow. the best and only absolute and sure way to determine when to harvest is by looking at the trichomes. now don't get me wrong. with practice, a person can look at a plant and be able to tell if it's almost there, or almost perfectly ripe, but again, looking at the trichs is your best bet. i've included a picture that can give you the best reference to deal with when dealing with trichs.

id be happy if i can get half as much as u did. also ur pictures convinced me to buy big bud seeds. ima try them out.

so strain is big bud and how many plants did u have?

thanks for all the feeb back guys. My set up is kind of unique I think. In the cellar, there is this 3.5x5x5 "cubby". I haven't seen anything like it since kindergarten. I have a 400w switchable MH/HPS in there. I had 3 plants in there vegging from see for 1 month. By week 2 of flowering, one of the plants couldn't fit! Had to lollipop and bend. Worked pretty good. I used miracle grow soil (it's shit but I'm just familiar with it), miracle grow nutes for veg. and GH Kool Bloom or KA-BLoom (I forget). I know mircacle grow sucks but I started growing a while ago and have used it since. I guess I'm just used to it and it suits my growing "techniques". It's worked for me. Attached is a pic (not great) of the grow room. Walls alre cinder blocks painted flat white and it's so fricken bright in there it's blinding! Temp near the canopy gets a little warm tho, like 85-87 degrees but I had the fan going and they didn't seem to burn (tips were 1.5ish feet away). All in all I'm really happy. Got 10 more clones I just transferred into the room with the good light. The clones vegged for 2 weeks under 2 40 water t12 fluoros. They are doing ok I guess. It's all just gravy from here on out.

Yea, I probably could have left them for another week or 2 at the most. I have a 30 and 40x magnifying glass and it was really hard to determine if they were done. They flowered for 7+ weeks and as far as I could tell, trich's were 75% cloudy. I have the lower buds still going so we'll see the difference. Few more pics attached.
