Nope mate, not a peep from them. Never mind, was worth the try!Everything is looking swell.

Shit, thank you... Back on the PC now, and just wanted to say a proper thanks for all the love. It makes the thread worth updating. So big love to feuersturm, Sensi, authentic, CoolDude, madrush, reku, tea & spicy for all the good words!
Thanks again mate... Yeah, I'm so happy with how this grow's gone so far, comparing to the first one in this box it's a world of difference. That extra height has really given me some options, and like you said, I've not even started to use it yet. The change to horizontal lights, combo'd with my not snipping and trimming left, right n centre have without a doubt made a major move in the right direction. Big thanks to whoever it was that suggested the ceramic fixings for the bulbs (emannn?)... Wouldn't have worked without 'em.
Ginger & smatz, thanks for the heads up on the app. I think I'll leave it for a while, haven't really got the spare ££ at the minute, and I'm doin fine with the browser version anyways.
Right, well I just popped the box open to have a quick butchers, and all is like a dream. The budsites seem to be springing up everywhere, I chucked down a little more LST, to try and level things out, so I can still keep her nice and close to the lights.
She's showing pistils all over the place, and the tiny budsites growing along the nodes are now starting to look as though they could all be serious contenders.
Getting that faint whiff of weed off her now, instead of the tomatoe kinda smell of the veg stage. The CF is holding out at the moment, I've added a tiny fan the other side of the box, pushing a little air in. It's not really much good at the moment as it's blocked up with the dvd's, but in time it'll see daylight... well, CFL light.
When I first started posting on here, someone told me that if I didn't give her enough space under the canopy for air to move around, I'd be in trouble... Any thoughts on this, she seems to be taking it with no problem at the moment. And she's touching dirt in more than a few places.
Anyway, here's the pics. All comments and Q's welcome!

are those dried peppers at the end of the pot? does that cover the smell? whats the deal with the peppers? lol
Yes... and No.are those dried peppers at the end of the pot? does that cover the smell? whats the deal with the peppers? lol
thats awesome, i used to grow peppers too, i had a huge jalapeno bush in hydro and a habanero that had 100 or more peppers on it. i learned a lesson about acid reflux after growing them and eating them in experimental dishes..haha ive done the same thing before i ran across some purple bell peppers that were perfect for stuffing and i dried them out and kept the seeds, i still have them somewhere but i wonder if they would germinate after so long its been about 5 years.lolYes... and No.
I've been growing chilis in the house for a while now... I get through so many of them it just seemed to make sense to start growing our own... Anyways, they were just bog standard chilis... Then on a visit to the local supermarket, I saw a pack of Scotch Bonnets marked down to pennies because they'd started going a bit dry. So I brought 'em back, and chucked them in the box to dry them out quicker... Now they're nice n crispy, I can harvest a bunch of seeds from them, and hopefully grow some Scotch Bonnets.
That, is my long-winded reason.
yeah id say youd be better off with a screen..my pot is about the same size as yours but ive got three plants in it so i think its gonna go wild. no strings will hold them back lol looking good though nice budsI'm not really sure I can... It's a freaking MESS.
I just drilled out a bunch of holes around the top of the pot. About one every inch. Then I stripped down a length of ethernet cable and have just been using the tiny wires from inside that to loop through holes and tie them across wherever I need them. I've not taken any out since I started, just added more.. and more... and more. I think half the pot is cable, and half weed now.
It's been easy though, it's been a doddle to keep everything nice and level, and the plant's grown into it nicely. It's turned out much more like a scrog than an lst job really.
I just can't figure a way of fixing a screen in there man, it'd mean lowering the amount of soil I'm using, or building something above the pot, both are a bit too much hassle for me, considering the tiny amount of space involved. I'd LIKE to grow with a screen, but in all fairness, I'd like to be growing in my proper HPS cab, that's made for scrog and works amazingly. But the misses won't have any of that at the moment. My LSTing really has turned out like a kinda scrog though, it's defintely helped having the scrog experience in my back pocket, I've been turning stems under and pulling them back down on pretty much a daily basis.yeah id say youd be better off with a screen..my pot is about the same size as yours but ive got three plants in it so i think its gonna go wild. no strings will hold them back lol looking good though nice buds
