Easy there killer, I try to stay as far away from the racial arguments as I can on this forum. I've seen plenty of bigotry and prejudice from BOTH sides of the arguments in here. I will occasionally pipe in when I think someone is falsely being accused of racism... happens waaaay too often IMO.

I wouldn't argue that there aren't racists in this state, I've met them in the process of doing business over the last seven years. But, I've worked with people from Fayetteville to Wake Forest and most of them are anything but racist.
As a native Southern Californian yanked off the beaches and moved to Albany Oregon, to a couple of years in Las Vegas and then Denver, stationed in DC, settled in Northern Virginia to retirement in NC, I've seen just about every type of person there is to see in this country. Other than accent, I've found very little difference in people. Except in one of my favorite places, Savannah. Those are some laid back, easy going, artsy folks in that town. I don't think most people in any part of the country have the time or inclination to be racist.
