So who here is growing in true organic living soil?

SomeCA- That looks like some good rock powder! I highly recommend that stuff (rock powders)

Slumdog- I like to use local BIMs rather than buy someone else's BIM. I'm cheap, I guess...

How much should i put in Rog? I know it probably goes by weight on soil?

I would not categorize that as cheap there Rroger.

I am trying to come up with something equal to ogbiowar tea without the 300$ per cycle price tag
that goes along with it. Plants LOVE it but, I would like bring the cost down.

I meant my BIMs are cheap. I wouldn't buy what I can easily make. I would take a bullet before buying such a marketed tea. Just to make a point.

I cant imagine needing tea, my plants are growing over an inch a night.
I think that chicken poo , the super soil and whatever i added after learning here is doing awesome.
I am sooooo glad i went with soil instead of hydro.
Those guys talk about detail and paying attention, pffffft.

Ive got hours in my soil alone, and the next batch is going to be bigger and better, and this is my first grow.

I mean, do i need teas really? I dunno?

I like seed enzyme teas. They offer something extra.
I thought that these were very interesting when I first
read of them. My wife found her old sprout jar recently. lol

I will need to get some seeds/beans to sprout. I will have to
look up what is best.

We want to grow some traditional "bean sprouts" for the table too.
(these are Mung Beans, aren't they?)

Great stuff RR!

I knew what you meant. I was trying to say that's smart, not cheap. Came out wrong, as per usual.

The tea it's self is amazing, the price not so much. My plants beam 12 hours after their weekly tea. I do not have the heart to deny them that joy. I am trying to find out everything in the tea, buy a years supply and save money but, it's easier said then done for me.

Hmmmm...I am not sure whether it will root or not, as it would
be trying to flower. Clones need 18/6 or more IMO.

What is the situation?

Good luck,

JD

My son put to many plant in the room and i wanted a clone from one of them. I have to trim a little anyway, maybe i will try.
Other than that we are screwed on one gene

yea you can clone buds. i got a pile of boss hog cuts in the cloner now from day of harvest. i only expect a few to make it and its gonna take a few weeks but the highest yielding plants I've had was a clone that came from a plant that was already in flower. its how i save winning seeds, i dont clone anything until i know its a winner in flower.

too add, some perpetual set ups require you to clone around week 3 flower so by the time they root and get 2 weeks in veg their mother plants are done blooming.
