Fantronix - Anyone had experience of this brand?

The other day I was monitoring e-bay when I saw a 6" and a 8" filter for auction with crazy low bids offered - so I made slightly higher bids and, before I knew it, I was the proud owner of them both.
For the price of £30.99 (8") and £31.50 (6") [that's roughly $45 each] I acquired them.

I have a 6" RUCK with 6" Rhino filter - so the spare filter will always be good insurance
and I've ordered a 8" to 6"spigot reducer so I can use my 6" fan with a bigger filter - as advised by a RIU experienced grower.

I just wonder how bad are these filters going to be?
They're certainly inexpensive but did I buy bargains or did I buy bollocks...?

FANTRONIX - Opinions please.

Ive bought a couple of different fans and filters from Fantronix over the years and they have all been cheap but decent reliable gear, the fans ive bought have generally been quiter than a comparable RVK or similar and Ive never had 1 blow up or die on me and the filters are pretty much the same but I have noticed you only really get about 2 grows out of them before the Carbon in them is shot and needs replacing or re-filling.

Overall, cheap but decent gear that will happily tide you over until you can afford/want better

Thanks, mate.
Good news.

I can worry about quality and longevity when some cash starts to come my way - and if I have a 2 grow window of opportunity....
