So I went out into the jungle to gather what was mine. Thanks for the motivation you guys. Got a lot of nice nuggetry that smells better than most of the other stuff I grew. 11-6-13 018.jpg11-6-13 019.jpg11-6-13 020.jpg11-6-13 021.jpg11-6-13 022.jpg11-6-13 023.jpg Forgot to take pics of 2nd spot.. 1st pic is 3rd spot with the 3 smallish plants, middle one couldn't handle the cold nights. The rest of them are of the 4th spot 6 plants there, all of them easy trims and best nuggets ive gotten from the forest. not as dense but smells amazing. just cut and stuffed into a bag so they will be jarred and cured kind of together. Just a great growing season. not a downpour like usual really helped me from chopping earl.

thanks marco, Got the weight of all my jungle tops 222g (might have seen 325 if I got the whole plants), let them dry a little too much before jarring but not too bad. Bringing the yearly total to ..........4.3 elbows. hell of a year for me considering my best year before this was about 100g. No need to be spending a few thousand on bud unless you can afford it. I would rather not. a little work, trial and error and any rookies out there can be in this situation. also been making dry sieve with about a QP of popcorn I never weighed up. don't have any fine micron screens but I use 2 metal screens then cheesecloth and it comes out good enough for me. I roll them into balls and just break off pieces to sprinkle in a bowl. havnt really been trying all the different types but I will be updating with smoke reports and anything like that. stay trippy:weed:

Yes it was quite the improvement. The stars aligned and only lost that one spot in the jungle. plus the monsters at home. just a very good year weather wise. only had a few small spots of mold. Also There is nothing compared to a full days sunlight! I was always in the shadows, the 3 big ones I had out in the open gave me almost half my weight.

Happy December! year is flying right by. I guess it goes faster as you get older. Still have only smoked 3 or 4 kinds. most have dried out all the way. ive got 2 big jars that still have heavy moisture but they get the daily fanning. Have been making dry sieve hash and it comes out pretty damn good but I am wasting at least 35% in the screening process. and its still not 100%. I think ill get some bubble bags to get more efficient. I did 6 runs in the month of nov. and I still have the shit in my freezer ready to go a few more times at least. shit knocks me right out. Ill flatten a ball and stick it on top of some already burned ashes so it doesn't get sucked through. holds it up nice and still lets good airflow. And I know I keep mentioning it but just the money im going to save has me all fucking smiley. I have no desire to sell any, but the thousands I will save in the next year will be welcomed. good for my economic situation.

Really one of the best feelings in the world to know you have a supply for the forseeable future. You did waaayy better than me in weight! I am very happy for you Bud. Just wait till next year, should be even better! Any thoughts on strains for next year?

sup puck, Ive got no plans as of yet. usually I have some nice "feminize seeds" because my buddy grows quality indoors and herms them out. But he's learning so that's no longer an option. But I do like something that can put me to sleep. I recently started smoking the most sativa one I had and its really not impressing me. Nice and frosty and decent smelling (smelled fruity when in flower) but the buzz just doesn't hit me like I want. Maybe its the more "uplifting" sativa high, or it was from some weak genetics. I try to only keep seeds I get a nice buzz from. (only one seed so far this year in one of my potted ones at home)

I am with you as far as the sativa indica feelings, I hate the out of body, jiggy feeling. Good luck with the seed you got so far.

^ Its really just been that one seed, Ive smoked about 2oz myself and gave away a bunch but no sign of any others so far...As far as the water hash it was easier than I thought but I really need to get some bubble bags. I went as ghetto as possible and used paper towels instead of coffee filters and that was a big mistake. I went to try and get some off this a.m and it was stuck pretty good. Im going to try and freeze to make it brittle, but im pretty sure its kind of woven in the fabric (especially the thinner deposits). Its how I do stuff, learn how to NOT do it. Like I said earlier I was wasting a shitload doing my dry runs. If I had done it all wet I could have had a lot more. pics to come

Cool, looking forward to it. Thinking next year taking a lot of my outdoor harvest and having a buddy of mine make a shit load of shatter hash.

Alright, 1st is the pot before the stirring, 2nd used the scoop strainer to remove the floating shit, 3rd is the leafy and what I pour the water through. this is where I should have had the coffee filter instead of papertowel. 4th is some of the stuff I scraped out of the pot on wax paper. 5th is a shot of the agitated frozen trim. and the 6th and last is one of the papertowels I used as a filter. Have about 6 total. did 2 separate runs back to back and had to switch "filters" in the middle because it was going so slow after it got blocked up.

I did about 6 dry sieve runs before this, so there would be a lot more. Bubble bags are on my xmas list.

confirmed, papertowel is not a usable filter for the extraction. I tried to freeze for 36 hours and it still wouldn't break off. I did smoke one thick chunk with a layer of paper stuck to it lol not too bad.

Didn't hear too much about it but I guess on the 10th (2days ago) Uruguay became the first country in the world to legalize the sale purchase and consumption of marijuana. Fully legal. not Amsterdam coffee shop legal. or next years Colorado one oz per person. But full on legal like any other plant. I was surprised I didn't hear more about it, but happy to hear the news. another step in the right direction, even if its not in the US.

Got bubble bags on the way so hopefully in the next couple weeks ill do a nice run with some of the trim ive been saving. Got a nice little 5 bag set. cant wait to see how that goes. Ive been saving the sugar leaves and might even use an oz or 2 of some of my less impressive buds just to concentrate.

no ive never even tried anything but my screens pretty much dry sieveing by hand. And you see my pics of my 1st water run wich was quite a ghetto set up, but I saw the potential of water. did that a few weeks ago and really liked it. one step at a time. What do you like better about it? easier? more productive?
