Cheers mate, will be 56 days on sat so i'll get them out of the cab for some real light pics and have a good look at the trichs, its supposed to be an 8-9 week flower but it still looks like its got 2 - 3 weeks to go which means i'll be chopping it around christmas day, maybe open my presents in the morning and cut them down after dinner lmao
I want these to finish properly though, as you know i had to cut their mum down early cos of the bud rot

I popped an ak48 a few weeks back and she'll be the next candidate for my cupboard, took 4 clones off her yesterday and will prob do the same thing as last time, keep the strongest 2 and kill the others.

Ya, dude my Fruity Chronic Juice strain is on day 62 right now. They gonna go another week plus at least too. That will make it 10 weeks.... ****be patient, be patient*** Tonight i saw some cloudy trichs tho. Im in hydro so im only flushing about 5-7 days tho. Thinking hopefully tomorrow ill flush. Day 56 from flip.
Had a look through the loupe and i am just starting to see a few cloudy trichs, i think 2 more weeks till they get the chop.
Gonna get a week of ripen @ 5ml/L, a good flush and then a week of just ph'd water.

Either way in hydro or soil, if what i have learned is correct, you want to chop when you either have all cloudy trich's or a mix or cloudy and amber. Giving 48 hours of cool darkness at the very end. If they are still clear trich's then they haven't hit their highest potency. The more cloudy, the more upbeat high, the more amber the more couch lock high. Anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong but that is what im going by right now. this is also my 3rd grow tho too. so im no expert

From what i have gathered this is the more LOGICAL solution. Going by trichs is simply a way to harvest at the highest level of potency. Amber= degraded thc. Cloudy= hitting peak. Clear= Not yet able to produce a quality high. Waiting for more to be amber will not give you MORE of a couchock high. It all depends on the strain. You cannot change a sativa dominant into an Indica-type high by waiting longer. Simple common sense when you think about it. And it goes the same for an indica; you cant get a primarily head high by cutting it early. Its in the genetics. Thas like saying a black couple will have a white baby by having it prematurely and white couples will have a black baby by going past due date. Simply impossible. Ive been reading on harvesting for a while and have weighed/outweighed everything. Its all in the genetics. So, going by trich is just the way to get the MAX thc level. Not different highs.

Anyway, lovely looking plants. The bleaching really gave them their own characteristic. Def pic of the year to me.
