Best sativa strain for perpetual grow

Hi again guys!!!

As Attitude is laying on a great promotion, I am definitively going to buy seeds. For my next grow Im looking for a really nice sativa hybrid. The features I hope this strain to have are these:
- Cerebral, clear high
- Easy to clone
- Not too damn tall, unlike the beast I have in the closet right now >.<
- Not too smelly
- A decent yield
- Flower cycle lower than <9 weeks

The most important is placed first; the least important, last.

Id love any input. Ive read some journals about the Cinderella 99, let me know if that's the way to go or if you have other suggestions! :) Have a nice day!

TGA subcool's jack's cleaner 2 has SOME body thump, but is a 9 week strain with a fun complex high that isn't KO stony and that adds a warm and fuzzy body effect to it's euphoria PLUS has that rare "touchy feely" effect i've only experienced in yucky tasting (diesel) onyx, and is also trippy! when i saw invisible ripples of tie dye color emanating from my hand massaging my chest just because it felt so good with my eyes closed, i had to laugh my ass off at how old school the effect was. you might like probably racier and trippier jack the ripper better, but i hate that name.

if you're worried about stretch, just flatten your gals out on a scrog screen. that's the perfect way to grow stretchy, but super refined DNA sweet haze which bested a bunch of other more generic rivals and it's a 9 week strain.

john sinclair's sativa trans-love
takes longer to finish, but flips faster than any sativa dom and leaves even C99 in the dust out the gate for budding, but has a more generic fruity haze flavor and high than sweet haze like many jack, thai and haze hybrids

sativa dominants will tend to be lower odor unless you get something like super silver haze or romulan or one bred for funk.

if you're after quality, DON'T grow sativas under sodiums! use full spectrum halides! sativas prefer those, and you'll get fuller pheno expression. look it up if you don't believe me like one troill that opened his mouth because i was getting more pheno expression, particularly grape notes, out of super cali haze, joey weed C99 and barney's LSD under the halide i started out with. if you're growing for quality, use the best lighting and nice organic soils too. orange light is all about flowering, but there are several other plant functions that need other spectums, particulary ultraviolet in the case of THC production and bluer halides are much closer to that than red orange, but blue is needed for vegetative growth too. DJ shorts talks about it in a thread he posted here, but there are other places that talk about the benefit of halides just as great grandpa jorge cervantes' book "indoor marijuana horticulture" that taught me almost everything i know or have forgotten about weed and was on to SCROG when everyone was still sea of green. that book had more info than my other two guides combined!

hope that helps

Fucking hell, ask him to show you his STL.................... What them books he keeps quoting taught him was fuck all. How to fuck up a plant and make myself look a total knob on a forum as I "Crazey grapes" do....................

For this C99 is cool as you can do an 1/2 screen scrog every 4 weeks and harvest every 4 weeks.
Or same strain is brillian rooted clones straight to flower for fox tails

Most of Subscools strains are lower yielding mad stretchey hybrids with no uniform, but prety nice if you hunt for the right phenos.

hehe, thanks for all your information guys. Ill probably just go with the c99 then. For about 90 USD I can get me 25 nice and diverse seeds, 15 freebies O.O. Still though, 13 bucks just to get the delivery secured, another extra payment for tin cans to avoid ruining the seeds. For fucks sake, it's like buying air plane tickets, man. The light is a LED. Ill upload a photo later from my current grow :)

6.jpg1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpgThe big bush in the left inner corner is definitively a 12< sativa strain, no real flowers showing yet >.< The two Indicas are LSD and Bubba Kush, all are almost four weeks into flower. One question, lower leaves seem to be falling off, is this due to poor light coverage on the lower plant parts?
Again, thanks guys :)

Plants lose leafs for a variety of reasons. Generally if its just a couple, with no visible reasoning (burn, bugs, stress) a plant may be replacing leaves, with older lower ones being shed as they are not needed. Nothing to over worry about as long as it isn't progressive.

Thanks man, luckily I dont think its progressive and I cant seem to find any nute burn on them, however, they are all twirled up and dead for long. They fall all when I clean up the plastic mat. I figure their energy is going to the big new fan leaves, which are enormous :) Thanks again! :)

No problem homes. On some strains I get a few lower leaves that will experience it. Generally it's in strains that have thick under brush and the plant doesn't need the leaves so it drops them at least that is my experience. To me, it's like a challenge, how many healthy leaves can I keep from start to end, kinda like a game.

ETA Hazy is like a broken record, I don't even think he grows. Just copypasta the same things over and over again. Plus he has some weird hate on indicas, despite not realizing many of us rely on them for pain management

Why does hazy make nearly identical posts for years on end? Boring
Cause all he as done is these events.

As an organic grower Im used to seeing leaves discolour nr the end of its flowering cycle.
I find plants that have been kept green throughout have a very green plain grass taste to it, almost like garden grass.
Like my Avatar Wk 6 yellowing from lack of N and a touch of MG def. The lack of N if fine but MG is best to ad a touch of MG rich feeds or personaly I used Epson salts

While I agree that leaves will start fading as nutrient availability dries up, and in organic as I've witnessed this over the years when I had my vegetable plot (organic, primarily compost tilled yearly) I don't find the taste issue to be an issue.
I find a proper dry and cure rids buds of that aroma.

Edited to add, I mayn use some cal/mag but not always needed

props for the organic route. I don't buy into it necessarily being better, but mm its certainly better for the environment compared to the petro based salts I and many are using. Being renewable and all.

My forray into doing organic on my small grow just was too unpredictable plus I tried indoor composting (fail) and teas I couldn't keep consistent. Definitely going to give organic a go again, just will need to have a bigger space

No shit, if the mods arent willing to ban such a disaster who comes on their site and fills newbs heads up with the worst advise possible, they should perm set his rep at NEWB.

Considering they have done neither, they must not care very much.

eh I find people like hazey, who give out shit information, eventually show them selves even to the noobs.

Been on sites with heavy hands mods, it gets tiresome

it would have been problematic if none of you other guys had posted. at least it could have been. I am adding a tea spoon of dolomite powder to the water once a week. after brutally bending my unknown sativa strain, the upper leaves are curling downwards, looks very much like when the roots where asking for bigger pots. However, I fear it's due to the brutal bending I did two days ago. Ill upload a photo later and hope for your advice. And canna_420, the bubba kush is from is from Humboldt Seeds Organisation. I wish you all a nice weekend :)

  • were it NOT for hate filled losers like you getting in the way of my personal space, i might be able to complete a grow beyond the first one that there are plenty of pics up in here for just like those of my prized fruity booty cross.
  • instead of trying so fucking hard to DISPROVE the truth, whgy not try and help those who want to get high do that and stop being such a party pooper?
  • i've decided not to let the likes of you get on my nerves anymore. the real saliva lovers here, especially those i've helped know what time it is.

Dude no one is hating on you just to hate. In fact its more of being annoyed of passing on misinformation and acting like some holier than thou asshole. You don't have any healthy grows, you ramble incessantly about sativas and bash indicas like an ignorant broken record. Plus you play the victim card about your grows. How hard is it in the real world to keep your grow hidden? What the fuck is with you and neighbors? You sound simply crazy. it isn't hard to keep a grow hidden, almost all of us are. FFS I can see if anything you causing problems in the real world with neighbors if you are anything like this irl as you are online.

Seriously think about the above.
