Believe it or not, my when I was issued my orders in Boot, my Company Commander said "I think that's in Japan". I was ecstatic until I learned that this Miami boy was headed to an isolated duty station in the Aleutian chain for a year.

um boo hoo..you know what they told us at my cushy pubster fortune 500 (debt free company) when they were cutting their contribution to our 401k because of the fiscal meltdown 2008? "if you don't agree to this, we are going to go out to the floor and fire your support team..you want to be responsible for that"?
