I'm not sure what min wage is in China right now for child workers but Yes. They should be taking home $15.00 per hour like here in the USA.
You are a socialist and disrespect the USA for all we fought for.

again, the min wage schmucks are NOT working for McBurger Corp
they work for the FRANCHISEE who operates on tight margins. before anybody takes a pay cut on your recommendation, i propose YOU take a pay cut for inability to recognize how a business operates.

As a degree they may be useless, but I use them all for my job and get tax write offs for the books. What incentive would those authors have to write? Very few besides me and their students, like Sky on this forum, buy their books. Why are you trying to ruin my life? I thank their getting degrees.

Any time an unwanted third party regulates the interactions of a willing buyer and seller, there will be unintended consequences. The free market is rarely discussed in the context of reality, because many people don't understand it and think what has caused the problems, (coercion thru regulation etc.) will ultimately fix the problems. This is not going to happen.

Freedom to trade absent any unwanted intervention will bring opportunity for all that want it. Creating barriers and "rules" to free trade (protectionism) will bring money to some and stifle opportunity for others. A coercion driven limited market benefits the dishonest, the government parasites and aids the protectionism of crony capitalism.

A free market EXPANDS opportunity, an unfree market stifles it, ALWAYS.

not always. a totally unregulated market rapidly becomes a monster which can swallow up whole societies and bring about anarchy though the dominance of wealthy fools driven solely by short term profit.

in a perfect world with a perfect human species, sure, every transaction could be unregulated, but we dont live in a perfect world, and not everybody is nice.

some regulation (including the FORCE to back it up) is essential to ensure that the market operates with as little fraud, deception and coercion as possible

tyranny under unrestrained capitalism is almost indistinguishable from tyranny under collectivism

You contradict yourself. "Restrained" is tyranny. What you fear happening, fraud and coercion cannot be prevented if they are an integral part of the recipe.

Also the free market isn't necessarily "capitalism" or at least the kind that exists today.

I had to laugh at the "poster child" for yesterdays protest. Complaining she can't survive on her $7.25/hr pay @ 20 hrs a week and doesn't have enough money for diapers/clothes for her 5 month old child.

So let me get this straight, she is not married, earns about $125/week take home, just had a baby ( which she couldn't afford ) and expects a corporation to give her more $ to help correct her poor judgement. No doubt a low/no information progressive liberal.

No I was thinking more Cuba, they have their shit going on way more than we do. Why do you keep bringing up a standard wage for everyone, we should let people choose their wage, no matter how small, its a dog eat dog world right, whats more American than that, stab your homie in the back for his job, the american dream!

But the majority are franchised, so if you mandate all restaurants, only the corporate restaurants will remain.
To be honest, this is a classic example of how too much government intervention in business leads to crony capitalism.

your an idiot, so the millions upon millions of people living in poverty shouldn't be able to reproduce? Where would you get your next generation of slaves to exploit? damn sounds like you would like to move some laws to the way of china.. one child per couple or in your vision, no child unless you pass a pre screen interview from a panel.
