If you want to LST, you need the top tied down. What you did there won't help.

She needs more light or the cfl closer. She is stretching.

I don't think he is trying to LST them, I think the plant is just stretched so much it looks like it on that one node.

More lights asap, or move them closer. That plant is stretching out in search of more light, it's going to get tall but have long breaks in between the foliage.
 
No it started under hps in corner thought was dead then shot out sideways as soon as I noticed put it under cfls
