Interest, or lack thereof, does not seem to be what dictates who you have and haven't heard of. Either way though, it's not really proof of anything other than you not hearing of the guy. I don't see how it's evidence you weren't where you claimed to be.

psychology isn't a science because there is no clearly defined terminology, no quantifiability, hardly any highly controlled experimental conditions, very little reproducibility and, finally, only mild predictability and testability.

Just try to define happiness.

The paper was peer reviewed. Cognitive ability and conservatism are negatively correlated.
