Ok, to all of you who didn't mind the cat and instead tried to help:

I bought perlite and made a 1:1 mix with soil, washed her roots, cut some away, and replanted her, even though she was smelling dead already. I am so fucking sad =/

Is the litter box clean? I know there are some sprays that keep cats from wanting to pee in certain areas.

Better yet, ditch the soil and go DWC. It won't want to use that.
