PolyPloid Plants........ I gots me two and a half!!!!!!

The wife works at a wine and spirits distributor and brings home "samples" all of the time. Most of them are way to sweet for me but that shit is the bomb!!!

I like sweet...you can always ship them to Florida...HA!

Your going to make me use up my EverClear aren't you???? LOL!! There won't be much mixed in the water. maybe I will just put the pump and hose in a bucket of bleach/water since that is all I am worried about. Probably don't even need to do it. I killed my lungs with bleach fumes so I don't really care for it myself.

My concern would be the bleach residue and it's affects on clones trying to root...like I said, I could be way off base but I'd personally lean towards pharmaceutical grade alchohol...

A perfect example...a heart bypass machine, it isn't cleaned with bleach...they use an alchohol solution to clean it...

Ok, No bleach was used in the making of these plants!!! Two Blue Dreams, two AK48's and a XJ-13.




The sprayers look like they cover pretty well. The design of the ice chest does great at not leaking. Lets see how long it takes to root.........



I stuffed it under the edge of the sink next to some small plants. I like the way the Bi-ploid is doing in the milk crate so I decided to up-pot one of the girls into a grocery bag. The one in the bag has some curl happening. It might not like the 20% humidity.



Here is a shot of the red room. The rear left corner is a Blue Magoo that was topped then topped again, Center rear is the Blue Magoo whorlybiploid, Right rear is the Blue Magoo mini-ploid, front right is a XJ13 topped then topped again, far left up front is AK48 and next to her is a Blue Dream. Off to the right out of the picture is a sad panda Blue Dream waiting for the hash pile

Dang!! I am a few days shy of one year since my last Hermie.... Frickin cold weather.. LOL!!

I wouldn't mind having some pollen from this plant but I will never be that lucky.

The girls in the ice chest are happy today.



The wife just got home from work with 5 more bottles of wine so I will finish this in the morning.

Sad plant!!!!! Day 39 of flower.


I missed a day as I have done before due to brain malfunction and the WhorlyTri-ploid took a hit from dry soil...... I need to fill my phone full of alarms again!

When I opened the door she was hanging pretty low so I gave her 2 gallons of water. She perked up shortly after and I snapped that picture. Almost all of the others were on the verge of being to dry also. Nothing like more stress to help with the nanner's!


The Mini-TriPloid is doing good so far. She has her pre-flowers and moist soil.. 17.5 inches and 69 days old. Bring on the stretch!!!!



These are the last two Whorly-ploidy plants for now.

The clones I cut 9 days ago are still hanging in there. The aero-cloner is working pretty good so far. I added an air stone today because it had a funky smell starting up. I also added a filter for the water since I have had to unplug a few of the heads.
Both of the Blue Dreams have root dots that showed up 4 days ago.



I decided I had an extra AK48 since I am trying to cut back on how many are in the flower room at once. So I stuck one in an old pool strainer basket and tossed it on the floor of the flower room!!! I did say I was cutting back right!!!!!!!!!!

Here she is.. All 4-1/4 inches of her!!! Should be a beast!! LOL!!!



Other than that not much happening. The wife ordered a 6" 430 cfm fan, filter and 25 feet of duct yesterday for my 49th Birthday. The family in the rental house next to us is moving and we don't want to stress on the new tenants being cool or not. We pay a mortgage and don't plan on moving anytime ever. Plus the wife said it smells all the way over at her driveway at the other side of the yard.

So buy the rental house...turn it into a grow house...then you wont have to worry about crowding the grow room and neighbors wont be an issue...ALL PROBLEMS SOLVED!

I love that idea!!! The house is identical to ours. 2500+ sqf California split, 5 bedrooms and a bonus room!!! That would be a lot of weed . Unfortunately I am sure the rent is 3 times what our mortgage is so around $1500 per month. We aren't in the position to purchase another house at the moment Plus the beotch that owns it is not easy to deal with. I watched her throw a 6 pack of beer at her husband two days before he hung himself in the garage just to get away from her!!!!

I just hope we get more cool people in there, that last family was great!!!

Sitting around tonight drinking some Vodka and watching the wife order my Christmas stuff on line. I cannot wait!! I am getting a set of bubble bags, a usb microscope, Some silver ingots (bonus points for those who know why) A George Cervantes book I have wanted to read, two HPS bulbs (one for a spare) possibly a bottle of colloidal silver but I am not sure cuz I forget.... Remember, drinking!!!

I got an E-mail today from the utility company showing this months bill... Fawk me!! $100 more than last month!! $289 for gas and electric for one month and it just hit -4 degrees for the first time this year!! Guess who is sealing his room up to hold in the heat!!! Hello PM

Been a few days.

Everything is growing like a weed! I have been working on my ventilation and temp control. The fan and filter my wife got me for my birthday showed up yesterday so I got busy installing it. I got the 440 cfm i-power fan filter combo from Amazon.



After about an hour of the fan running the room dropped from 79 to 61 degrees so I decided to control it with a timer. I use the heat from the lights to heat both rooms when they are on and heaters when off.

I had a couple of old 30 minute increment timers that quit working laying here so I pulled them apart and fixed them. While I was at it, I did the modification to turn them into short cycle timers. Now I have one timer with 48 second increments and one with 51 second increments. The difference is in the accuracy of the timer. I have never had one that kept perfect time! One of them controls my aero-cloner (on 96 seconds, off 192 seconds) and the other controls the new filter/fan (on 102 seconds, off 357 seconds).

For those who haven't seen the timer mod it is super simple.

Take a $7 timer..



Open it up..



Pull out the gear box..



Remove the drive gear and both upper reduction gears..



Hot glue the drive gear to one of the reduction gears.. I used the shaft to keep them lined up and squirt the glue in between them!



Re-assemble the gear box without the upper reduction gear in place..



Put it back together and use a stopwatch to see how long each click is!!

Alright Yawl...

That is some of the Texas in me coming out...

So my wife decided she just could not put bubble bags under the Christmas tree for me to open in front of our kid so she gave them to me last night. Our kid knows all about my operation but would rather not see it and we respect her wishes.

So this morning was a great time to give 'em a try. I grabbed a 5 gallon bucket and got to work. Let me tell you, these are super easy to work with. I filled the bucket 3/4 full of cold water and let it sit on the back deck for an hour since it was 29 degrees out. After the hour was up I inserted the bags and dumped 1 ounce of trim into them. I emptied the ice maker on top of the trim, gave it a gentle stir and went inside for a cup of coffee.
I let it sit for about 15 minutes then gave it a long gentle stir with a large wooden spoon. I let it sit for a few then stirred again. After sitting for about 15 minutes I pulled the bags and cleaned them out.

I used 3 of the bags and got this!



I had just got started on a second ounce of the same trim when the wife called and told me that the Sheriff was on the way to the house to meet with us.




Pretty much sums up my feelings for about 30 seconds..

Every Scensy warmer in the house was turned on and all was good! I went and finished what I was doing but decided to do the ounce of Blue Dream in the morning. I am going to save the washed trim and make butter with it.
