Maddog...I am guessing you have not been on either train or us in decades lol. The dogs are gonna be at the depot stops. You grab your stuff and upon exit the dogs will be at the bus door with agents who will do some profiling along with the dogs smelling. Then both services do have on board cameras they can review on the bus its self so all your ideas are bad ones and if that's your best planning then you have just been lucky I guess lol....

Hazin...you need to get out in the real world. What you say yes is a factor for a length of time but for a few hours on a bus not so much if done correctly. As I said I have owned drug sniffing trained dogs and been through many many check points in the El paso area. The dogs don't get the scent if done right. Its a mistake on the packer that gets the hit.Maybe you should get your nose out of the books get some real world expirence and stop commenting like an arrogant dick.

i apologize for my ignorance, but why are there drug sniffing dogs for interstate travel? I thought the purpose was to prevent drugs from entering or leaving the country. If they are there just to take advantage of large groupings of people who might be carrying, isn't this a violation of civil rights? specifically illegal search and seizure?

For the same reason cops will have a trained drug sniffing dog brought out to the site of a "traffic stop" if they suspect drugs. The cops, most specifically, multi-jurisdictional drug task forces aim to bust interstate transportation as well as find drugs at the border. A violation of civil rights? Not so much anymore. Our founding fathers would take our currently seated supreme court justices and summarily have them shot for treason!!
