hey everyone i have a couple of fems that im finally ready to flower. i have 18 cfls 23w each(was 20 but 2 gave out will be replacing soon). today is their first day in flower stage but b4 i go any further i want to you guys to give me advice on how they look like now. the heads are beautiful, but im not to fond on the bottoms. is it normal for them to lose so much leaves, im pullin dead leaves off everytime i check. i was thinking 3 65w bulbs hanging lower than the tree top level should cure such baby growth.

The extra bulbs are a good idea.

However, you've got nice plants there, and anything I have bushy like that (my Moms), I'm constantly plucking leaves as well. They reside under CFLs like your plants do.

No harm at all. Just get good coverage and you'll be fine.

loosing leaves is not normal. I don't care what anyone says it is not normal. With that being said I would suggest trimming it up so those lower stems are bald... they are not going to produce anything of value. next is how stuff is dying I see a blackish leaf in there is that whats happening? are thy turning yellow and dying or what, how are they dying? What are you feeding them? what are they growing in

which pic do u see the blackish leaf , and the bottom ends are falling off im guessing because of not enough light penatration. last time i feed them was 2 days ago, 700ish ppms of flora series(with alil bit of cal mag) in ro water and their in coco mixed with perlite

I don't have any experience with CFL's but they look good to me. I would suggest lining the walls with Mylar to get more reflected light, but they look great to me...but I am still a noob myself. On my third grow. But I always loose leaves that end up under the canopy.

ok so adding more bulbs would be a smart thing to do
yes always with cfls. Personally I save cfls for veg. flowering takes a lot more light than veg. be sure to ph to 5.8ish trim up the bottom and hang lights all over them hoes
