not new to growing, just new to indoor

Hay guys just wanted some input as this is my first indoor grow. Ive been growing outdoors for 30+yrs but this is all new to me.
the box i have her in i know is crap but have to get this grow off before i can upgrade to tent. I have no budget left for this grow as i put it all into lighting. im using all natural nuts. for this grow. teas,molasses,ect. im growing in soil and the ph from the tap is 7. i have never added anything to change ph in the past, with no problem. in running a self watering system i made with a iv bag and a flow reg. 5ml. per hour. 400watt HPS light. I have a 150watt HPS on hand if needed. my girl is a "sweet island sk" is its 5 1/2wk old and the box is 32x32x4 i know its too short but in going a scrog and if it starts to get to tall i will wrap a cage around it. i have topped it a few times and its 15' tall right now. the question is when should i flower so it dont over run my box. i was going to start 18/6 for a week and then go 12/12 just starting to touch the scog now. outside they get 8 to 15 ft. what should i do?

they usually double in size so account for that when you want to start flowering. looks sexy for sure though

They look good. If your going to scrog then you decide the height based on where you put your screen. By looks of things, id get that screen up and them under it now. Fill half your screen, and switch to 12s. during stretch they'll fill out the screen. A little under canopy trimming and you should be set. GL Cheers.

If your box is only 32" high, and the plant is 15" (I hope that take the pot into consideration). You should start thinking about flipping NOW! As posted, plants can/will double in size and more.

Advice still holds. You're going to need at least 18 inches for lights (from the top of the cab to the top of the plant). So I still say, flip 'em now

Ok i got scog in place and ready. im trimming the undercarriage now so i con get some more clones and will start tommarow. thanks
