I currently have 2 jobs...

1st: Marketing Account Executive Intern (pretty fancy title for an intern)
Pay: $10 an hour

2nd: Horseback riding instructor
Pay: $35 an hour, usually have 2 half hr lessons and 3-4 hr lessons per week

I'm actually thinking of starting my own business VERY soon... looking into the equipment I need to buy and trying to figure out all of the financial aspects involved.

I'm a network administrator/architect and I make 50.00 an hour. I am also still in college finishing up my networking degree.

On another note: I just passed my CCNA 2 last night with a 98%. I celebrated by getting baked and passing out.

Me I want to set myself up for the future I want to own my own small businesses and still help people with my mmj. I tried getting into landscaping a few years back but everywhere I called always says u need a year or 2 experience how the fuck am I supposed to get any when no one will hire me. Come spring time ill prob go look for a laborer job .10.80$ does not cut it when I want to get a mew car/rent to own a property and continue adding to my 401k n savings. I just want an adult job dont want to do the bullshit job jumping. Somewhere I can work my way up and be a formen or supervisor. To do that at my.job id have to wait a good 10 more years and fuck that

You sound motivated! I think your "Putting the horse before the cart"! Look into or take a business entrepreneur class at the college level. Get a job, then develop your own landscaping business part-time. I have 12 years in general construction! The best advice I was ever given is fake it till you make it.

Good Luck, and failure is quite common when starting your own business. Don't give up!

PS. most community colleges offer landscape design class/certifications.

No, it was a networking class for cisco. A+ is hardware.
I have a CCIE, for 15 - 20 tears now (can't remember exactly when I first qualified) Bud you just can't go wrong with this ccna, it's an excellent qualification, difficult but well worth it. Respect man, don't give up

Free advice if anybody is interested, IT is easy way to make a living. A+/N+ are good qualifications, not at all difficult to obtain and will allow you to work for yourself. Never ever give up the chance for an education, big mistake.

I have been licensed as a journeyman in both electrical and hvac for more than 25 years. I have made anywhere from 120k+ ( shit loads of overtime) down to my current bring home after taxes, 401k, medical insurance and I buy an additional week off every year ( 6 weeks off per year vacation total now after 17 years of service) of around 75-77k

I am planning on another 3 years and calling it quits. I have a vested interest in something that will give me and the wifey enough to tell the corporate world to finally kiss our asses. There are a great many fish that I have yet to meet, and I need to get busy asap.

Peace and Great Grows
