[h=2]New York: Marijuana Legalization Legislation to be Introduced[/h]Assembly Health Committee Chairman Richard Gottfried (D-Manhattan) and Sen. Liz Krueger (D-Manhattan) have announced their intent to introducelegislation to legalize the possession, cultivation, and retail sale of cannabis.
Speaking at a press conference, the Assembly bill's sponsor Rep. Gottfried said, "We really need to move beyond our totally broken prohibition model to a sensible tax and regulate model. I think it's widely recognized that marijuana is at most nowhere near as potentially harmful as alcohol and our law is dishonest."
Added Sen. Krueger, "I don't believe a drug that is proven to be less dangerous, from a health perspective, than alcohol or tobacco should be under laws that actually criminalize and ruin lives when alcohol or tobacco are regulated and taxed."
The proposed Assembly and Senate measures would allow adults over the age of 18 to possess up to 2 ounces of dried marijuana, 1/4 ounce of marijuana concentrates, and to cultivate up to 6 plants. The legislation would also establish regulations for state-licensed retail cannabis outlets throughout the state. Retail sales would be limited to adults over the age of 21.
New York City Comptroller John Liu estimates that taxing the commercial production and retail sale of cannabis to adults would yield an estimated $400 million annually, just in the city alone.
According to a 2013 ACLU report, no state arrests more of its citizens for marijuana possession than New York.

Just doin' a little update here, lights aren't on yet so no pictures yet.

Well the 3 ball kushs and Black Domina x Bubblegum are getting close to fnishng. I plan on chopping the BD x BLG either tomorrow or Tuesday, and the 8 balls I'll be letting go for at least another week. Not as early finishers.

I also moved two of the three 8 ball kush clones, that have been veggin' in 3g pots for a while, to the flowering closest. They were going out of the veg area and couldn't keep them in there anymore. Once I harvest the four almost finished plants, I'll move the other 8ball kush clone and the 3 BD x BLG clones I have. Then the veg area will be open to my next round of plants.

I'm hoping some new beans will come in the mail soon, but if they don't I'll most likely be running at least one BD x BLG clone. I have two more beans of the 8 ball but will probably save those. I also have two reg freebies sleetstack x skunk #1 or something. I haven't really wanted to try because they are regs and don't have room or time at the moment to be messing with males or hoping reg seeds be female. I also got an Auto freebie I can throw in, then I think besides that all I got left is bag seed again.

I guess we'll see what happens Monday with the mail. Until then I'll be prepping my FFOF soil with Mycos, some other admendments, and ACT/Compost/Microbe brews. As well as mixing some older recycled soil and a bunch of hold fan leaves. Should have a nice boost of life in my soil before I put new beans or clones in.

I'll post some pictures up soon, lights come on soon.

i'm doing good bro, been over a month, and i now have no drainage. i got 6 seedlings going myself, and thinking i need to throw 2 sour diesel's in the bunch, but i'm in a 2'x2'x4' box and already have 6. right now i have 1 bag seed kush, 3 bag seed special, that's what it was called when i got it, i got a 1/2 oz bag with one bud, but it had many seeds, the other three are from last summer's grow from the one i called the pink lady, i'm calling them the pink right now. i started a thread in the cfl section, but there isn't much there yet.

Sounds like every thing is going great! Good to hear.

Yeah I feel yeah working with small/odd places. My veg cab is like 4ft long, 18in deep, and like 3ft tall. And my flowering closest is like 6ft long, but only 2ft deep, and like 8ft tall, but the 600 only works 4ft of my length, and 3ft of my height. I just want a whole room I can walk in lol.

So I think I'm going to chop the Black Domina x Bubblegum tomorrow. It looks ready and tomorrow just happens to be 56 days flower, 8 weeks.

So here she is today at day 55. She spent a couple weeks in a 4" x 4" pot, then vegged and flowered in a 2g smart pot. Vegged for around 5-6 weeks. Used FFOF all the way through with amendments added. Fed organic teas and AN Bud Candy. Pretty simple grow for me. She is super sticky, smells like sweet bubblegum and have some rock hard buds. Still hoping for 1oz per gallon like I was aiming for in the beginning, but I might get 0.5oz per gallon. Not great, but it's better then nothin'... :-|

I will say I learned a lot from this round of plants and hoping I can get up to that yield I'm looking for soon. I think I need to just buckle down and do more then I have been.

Yeah man those are the fattest tops I've grown yet, that 600 is doing wonders for me haha. They are a little wider then a pill bottle, and about 2 pill bottles long.

Thanks a lot, it was fun, but I need to go with bigger pots or something and increase my yield. Who knows maybe it'll surprise me but it doesn't look like much more then an ounce.

Unless you insist on extractions or using the Vape, an ounce
of stuff this sticky can actually last pretty long. I should be able
to get two months from an ounce, but probably never do. :0)

I only do oil with my trim, but I do use my vape at least once or twice a day, plus I just order my new portable vape. :-P

I try to keep it around an ounce a month for personal but I know I normally go over. :eyesmoke:

So planning on chopping the Black Domina x Bubblegum today. A lot of orange hairs, a lot of receding hairs, very swelled, a lot of cloudy trichs, some still clear, some amber. She smells like legit bubblegum. A lot of small popcorn buds so hoping for a lot of weight in those two rock hard colas.

I think it's as much as this plants going to give at this point unless I wait another long period like 2 weeks, which is not an option. :-P I might only get half of what my goal was, but I've still been learning this grow. I can say this one went a lot smoother, and I can say that the next round I'm expect a lot more weight!!! :lol: -determined-

I got a doc appointment here in 30min, then I'll be coming back to start chopping. Hoping to do the whole thing in one day, I'm always to lazy and cut one plant in like three days lol.

I'll make sure to take more pictures before/during/after chop.

Well my new beans finally came in today, so pretty stoked. Will be running some of those in my next run.

I'll let you know what the strain is I'll be running in a bit, but to give you a hint it's from SinCity seeds. :mrgreen:

Looking at just around an oz total for the BD x BLG. Not really happy, but it was a small 2ft plant, in a 2g pot, only topped once. So I think the yield fits the situation. Especially when I still don't have my feeding down great and still adding and taking things out of my teas and such.

My goal was 1 oz per gallon, so only half way there, but it is my second grow under the 600 with organics.
