im near Detroit in michgian . I have 12 Dispensaries with in a 20 mile radius that I know of. im sure there are more . half of them require you to get your product tested before you give your overages to them. and half could care less. the all sell eddies . if your new and stupid they charge 35 dollars to test your product. which I never paid. and never will. they always paid it. once you open the bag and look and see the sugar shining all sexy in the bag. there eyes light up and off it goes to get tested. free. if your product is not all that then they charge you and get a kick back for charging you an never all you back ever . so if yours is not top notch and I mean high times quality don't bother going to the Dispensaries . in ann arbor Michigan they have some of the best meds I have ever seen . except mine. have to blow my own horn im posting this lol . its very hard to give meds to them today. every body is growing the market is becoming over populated , you will only get 175 for a very good high quality zip. when you know they will sell it for 500 min . that's why I no longer deal with them. its a pain in the ass , you need to kiss some body ass to deal with them . and I don't kiss any ass unless im getting some pussy. this is my opinion only.

Well, what exactly do I have to do to open a dispensary?
I would make it a mobile dispensary (is this legal?) and just deliver the bud like every other drug dealer on the street.
Sure I would have to worry about people setting me up to get my shit jacked but thats a risk you take selling on the street anyway.

Up north is a different story than Detroit. Dispensaries are popping up around here, especially in Traverse City, but I am sure its not like Detroit and Lansing. Smaller counties have a few dispensaries in each. I think this number is going to increase.
Here in my little town in the woods, a dispensary tried to open and the local police and state police were there before they even opened their doors. Then the dispensary took down their sign by the next week. Not sure what happened, but it was before this bill was signed.
I wonder if it will come back now, this could be a big opportunity for me to get into the start of medical in my area. I don't see why they would not take my bud I am sure it would pass the test.
Feels odd being able to legally sell weed because of a medical condition while others risk prison. I have always supported illegal sales because it stops big business from controlling all the sales while still rewarding those that take the bigger risks. But maybe this is a way for weed to be legal while keeping big business out of the mix so the little guys can still make a big profit.
I still don't see this harming street sales because the bud from the dispensaries is going to flood out into the streets. And with medical grade being the new commercial grade, prices will go up.
It feels like we are taking the medical aspect out of medical marijuana and replacing it with a dollar sign. Almost like the medical aspect is just a guise. I can just imagine how many more people are going to try and get a card for medical conditions that never bothered them before now that dispensaries are legal.
But with the money right their waiting to be made I don't blame anyone or myself from trying to profit from it. And why not? Medical keeps the prices up while keeping the sales legal. High prices and legal are two things you don't hear of with weed sales.
Just my thoughts on this whole matter..

just an fyi, dispensaries are not yet legal. the bill has passed the house but still needs to go to the senate.

Ah thanks for clearing that up. There is still a huge possibility of full legalization. There are dispensaries running right now without full legalization anyway.

I'm not sure it's even legal for us to sell to them and them to sell to us. I think we have to be compensated for our time gas electricity and education, but the weed is all "donated".

Sales and even donations are currently illegal, don't get it twisted... Unless its between a patient and their designated caregiver, any transfer of cannabis is illegal.

The way I understand it is a caregiver can get meds for their patients anyway they can and use the MMP as their defense. So a sale from a dispensary to a caregiver would be illegal and legal at the same time, depending on which party is being prosecuted. Just trying to further clarify the unclear laws. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
I can see situations where a caregiver might get meds from a dispensary to help their patients try different strains first before running those strains through their grow cycle, although its probably rare and most of us caregivers would probably just grow it.

Like any other hot business, if there is money to be made a million guys will jump on. Every dude with a cfl is trying to grow trees in his closet without mom knowing. You just have to work hard and carve out your own niche (sp?). If you are working with dispensaries, selling on the street, blasting into wax etc. You get out of it what you put in. Just because you followed the pro grow chart on your fav nutes doesn't mean you are going to get $400 a zip for you shit.
