Yeah at least I know it should be some kill, unless for some reason it smokes bad it has all the qualities of some sticky icky haha.

That is one thing I always look forward to, always knowing my next round will be better because I'm still in that middle area where you're still dialing things down.

Also, I'm tracking my new addition to my collection of smoking tools. By smoking tools I mean pipes, bongs, papers, vapes. Pretty much anything that allows you to enjoy your crop.

Electronic Shipping Info Received

My new addition I'm talking about is the Ascent by DaVinci Vaporizers, it is one of the newer portable vaporizers to the market, just being release in the summer/fall of this year. It has a higher price tag but should be well worth it. It is one of few portable vapes with a LCD screen, and able to adjust temps by the degree, not preset. It has custom settings to allow you to set three different temps in sequence to run for a certain amount of time then raise up or down after a certain amount of time. Like 3 mins on 370, 5min on 390, 2min on 410, ect. It is also the only portable vaporizer with a complete glass pathway from the chamber for the herbs to the pipes it goes through to your mouth. It's a littler bigger and heavier then the Pax, but makes up for it with it's 3 hour battery life and larger bud chamber. It comes it four different cases/colors, it works with oils and herbs. They say it's suppose to be "the best portable vaporizer on the market for 2014." But with tech. now days I can see a better one coming out this Spring.

I am really excited for this bad boy though, should add nicely to my Mobius bong, Arizer vape, Incredibowl, and the 20+ other custom or name brand glass bongs, bubblers, and pipes I have.

Looking at just around an oz total for the BD x BLG. Not really happy, but it was a small 2ft plant, in a 2g pot, only topped once. So I think the yield fits the situation. Especially when I still don't have my feeding down great and still adding and taking things out of my teas and such.

My goal was 1 oz per gallon, so only half way there, but it is my second grow under the 600 with organics.

Alright so I just harvested my first plant this second run, first time with good/bought genetics. Pretty happy with the results, just expect more of a yield, but I'm still beginning so I accept it. I have 3 more plants that will be harvested soon as well, my 3 8Ball Kushs. I'm guessing those will get me around 1 to 1.5 oz as well like the first plant did.

Now I need plants to keep this perpetual cycle going, that's where my clones come in. I have 3 8Ball Kush clones and 3 Black Domina x Bubblegum clones. The difference is that the 3 8Balls and 1 of the BD x BLGs are in 3g smart pots now instead of 2g smart pots. And it is already showing a difference. Two of the 8Balls got put into flower 12-13 days ago, and I put the other 8Ball clone in there tonight. Then the 3 BD x BLG clones will be put into flower once I harvest the first three original 8Ball Kushs.

So what am I going to get start to run next? Well I want to try to at least keep a clone of each the 8Ball and BDxBLG clones but if I can't, I can't. My main focus is moving up in pot size and increase my yield. With that comes the one of the new strains I am adding to the mix. Cherry Pie from Sin City Seeds. This is commonly known as a clone only strain, but Sin City did a release of a small batch of Cherry Pie seeds, and I was lucky enough to get three.

Those are being germinated now, and will be put into 4" x 4" pots for a week, then transplanted to 2g Smart Pots, then finishing in 5g Smart Pots.




So that's pretty much what's going on right now. Will update on smoke report of BD x BLG, post more pictures, ect later on. I also might be starting some F1 Purple Trainwrecks I was given from a buddy.

Yeah the thread is only a month old or so, so still fairly new. I had thread before this that was in the Grow Journals section that I had for a lot longer.

So I just realized I my whole flower closest is full of six 8Ball Kush plants now.

The one on the bottom left is not actually that dark, and the top left isn't that purple. The whole left side is kind of messed up in color. My phone tries to do some automatic crap because of the HPS light. I'll try to get a better picture when the lights turn off here soon, but here is a closest shot.

The 3 younger ones are all clones of the middle front one. The difference in the clones from the first is that they are in 3g Smart pots instead of 2g Smart pots. They were also super cropped and topped more. The first one was topped once and that was it. That is why those three look like they have a lot more tops and a larger, more even, canopy; because they do.

ADT nice looking buds. I've got a ? for you. I read you have anxiety, my gf has it bad. Her dr. has her on a couple of meds but natural is better and was wondering what strains work for you. i know the "research" but rather hear real strains tried and tested by someone I can relate too. Thanks Jimmer, I've been trying hard with this organic stuff, really seems to be working.

Yeah I have pretty bad anxiety/depression/insomnia. I'm still on depression/anxiety meds as well as some insomnia meds, but the bud defiantly helps. And I am soon going to start getting off the meds I'm on now.

For anxiety, I have found that strains that are a hybrids are the best. High Sativa strains will actually increase anxiety. Indica strains are good for anxiety and depression but will put you on couch lock or put you to sleep.

Though I have not grown any of these strains, I have found by smoking strains like Jack Herer, Strawberry Cough, Sensi Star, and a lot of kush strains like OG and Kosher and Lemon, are names that I can strictly relate to being helpful for my anxiety. When I get the real deal I can really tell and those really stood out to me.

Honestly though at this point of time, pretty much any green whether it's decent or super high grade, it will take my anxiety away instantly. It's just the high after words depends if it's decent or high grade obviously.

I agree one of my buddies can't handle sativas. He bugs out wish he didn't though. I love sativas but Indica is best for those prone to anxiety or panic attacks. As far as hybrids just make sure they lean on the indica side.

I have a sweet jack strain that she likes and of course the dog works but puts her on the couch. Just searching. Peace.

Yeah anxiety is a real bitch and controlled my life for a long time, and getting out of that control also took a long time, and I still have problems. Some strains are truly for anxiety, but haven't really seen any specifically. Normally ones that work with depression or ones that are mood lifters go hand and hand with anxiety strains.

Thanks BGK. Yeah that whole closest is all 8Ball Kush now. The three younger green ones are all clones of the one in the front middle. The two younger ones on the right are 13 or 14 days flowering, the other one on the bottom left I just put in there last night.

The three flowering have all been flowerin for 58 days now. They still aren't looking ready to me, haven't checked the trichs but if the plant doesn't looks ready I'm sure the trichs aren't, but I guess you never know.

So I need to hurry up and take a clone off one of my 8Ball Kush #1 clones, and take one off my Black Domina x Bubblegum clone. I want to keep at least one of each of these until I can get pollen or seeds or figure something out. I have two more 8Ball Kush seeds but I like the structure/smell/look/trich production of the one I picked to clone.

ANYWAYS, if I can keep them I will, if not then oh well. New strain that's going into the perpetual cycle is Cherry Pie, from Sin City Seeds. The reason I don't know if I'll have room to keep the other clones is because I will be eventually running these in large 5g Smart pots, compared to the 2 and 3g smart pots I'm using now.

Now I only have three seeds, and I don't know if these are reg. or fem. seeds, so I'm treating them as reg. seeds. They cracked in less then 24 hours and just went into soil, a soil mix I made up myself.

They will start in 4" x 4" plastic square pots, in a week or so transplant to 2g smart pots, then a month or so after that move them into 5g smart pots to finish.

Will be top dressing and brewing teas, all organic as usual.
