Im in AZ, have a CCW, attend tactical courses and CCW training courses. One of the things we get lectured on is owning a gun that has been labeled, and is not yours. However, you have something on your side. AZ guns laws are the loosest in the nation, well maybe Florida is more loose. (Like a big wet vagina loose) So you may find yourself with a judge who is sympathetic. At best you're looking at probation and you wont be able to ever legally purchase a gun. Unless you can expunge your record later. At worst you are looking at jail time.

Doesn't matter what state you live. You get caught with guns that aren't yours and have been lableled [stolen or otherwise], you're going to get fucked. It's a federal thing.

depends on what exactly they pin you with. but if it's jail, it will be mandatory minimum, probably 6 months, maybe less. unless the guns in question are labeled with something bad, like stolen and used in a crime.

if it's just not yours and not labeled anything and you just can't PROVE that your purchased them at a gun show with a bill of sale or something, then probably looking at probation.

but im not a lawyer. this is just the type of stuff i hear at lectures. YMMV
