The Sheriff's Office seized two vehicles, an undisclosed amount of cash, marijuana and firearms as part of a marijuana sales investigation, Hail said. The marijuana is in excess of 150 pounds. Further details on the other items seized were not released.
The investigation into the homeowner, whose name has not been released because of safety concerns, stems from the Nov. 26 incident, he said.
Authorities have said the Sonoma County men were at the Upper Palermo Road residence to steal marijuana, but could not disclose more information.
The Butte County District Attorney's Office is currently considering whether the homeowner will face charges for marijuana sales and whether the woman allegedly driving the SUV will be prosecuted, Hail said.

150 pounds of weed!!!! HOLY FUCK! The police are still considering if they are going to press charges against this guy with 150lbs of weed. hahaha. holy fuck.. I was wrong as fuck, when the police said it took them 2 hours to find out marijuana was involved, I assumed it was a few ounces, not 150 lbs..

Anyway, my mind-set remains clear, I never have more than 5 lbs of herb and 20-30 plants. If someone breaks into my house for anything, I will assume they are armed and dangerous and I will plan accordingly.

....150lbs of weed that guy had... lol... dude, you sell weed to low-lives, especially 150lbs, and bad shit is GOING to happen. I don't sell which is why I am happy blasting - I feel safer this way.

this is interesting.. if the local police handle this it might not be a murder on the homeowner, if the FEDs handle this case because of the excessive amount of marijuana, it might be.. very interesting.. I have a feeling the homeowner will argue that we was only trying to "trade" cannabis from one patient to another and the pre-text of this was the deal to begin with. He will say, I don't know the people who were involved and the patient who was suppose to be receiving the trade did not show up.

He will argue armed men invaded his house with the intent to harm him, he will claim he had no intent to harm anyone, rather to defend himself in his home.

I could be wrong but I think the homeowner will do some jail-time for something, maybe even manslaughter, but I doubt it. I think the other people with intent to an armed robbery on a private homeowner will be charged with the murder because of their actions and associated actions.

I guess it should also be stated that the amount of people like me in my county of Northern California, (those with 1-5lbs of grass for personal usage, and more than 10 plants and less than 30 plants), out number the rippers, law enforcement officers, educational workers, and government workers, combined... what does that tell you? it tells us in NorCal, police can't win a conviction of cannabis users if they are medical, but maybe if they have 150lbs..

There are storage lockers all over Northern Cali full of pot. You don't keep that much weight at home.....rookies....gives us all a bad name.....

My experience is once they get around to physical harm, of my girlfriend, in one case, it is way too late. You are now their prisoner. Un-cool.

And if I had a gun in my hand I would have shot thru the door, with my right hand concealed and got both of them as soon as the guy in back began to level the gun over the front guy's shoulder.

So, we are not taught to wound or kill, we are taught to stop the clear threat, and fire until it stops. And no more.

This is the house where the person was shot.. I was looking at the two different pictures on the real estate website, the first picture was taken a longer time ago. The newer picture toward the bottom of the page shows a large enclosure with "plants" inside... I counted about 50 plants..

..I wonder if the rippers are using google maps, and looking for people to attack.. If so, I got something for them and I hope they are ready to be shot at if they come near me. The police have still not said if the home owner with 150lbs of cannabis will be charged with anything, even though he killed a scumbag in self-defense...

You know, I never thought about that. I just assumed that once they had street view, mapped a burg like mine, they would be done.

Not so. I have motorcycle and I never leave it in driveway, even for a few minutes....except one time. I left it out for about 1 hr to cool, being a very hot day, dirty ride, and wanted to wash it.

Sure enough, the next time I see the Street View, of my house, there is the bike in the driveway.

IAC, the idea of using it for rip-off, I can't see that, in general. But, if I smelled it in a neighborhood, you are right. It is easy enough to check a few hundred backyards. It does seem to update the views.

google street view got a picture of me taking a piss.. I shit you not, honest truth. I would give the address to prove but it's a privacy matter. Get this - they blurred my face but I can see my cack through the fence... go figure.. like a porn star.. I was waving at the Google van with one hand, hand on junk with other..

notice, Google also got a picture of my yard with plants in it but they blurred it out. I can see the enclosure inside the blackberry bushes, still looks almost invisible but they blurred the inside of the enclosure, not the blackberry bushes or structures, just the weed plants.
