6 Day old plant need help!! Newbie and have specific questions. Please help <3

IMG_5106.jpgphoto.jpg

I am curious to see why the leaves are curling like this. They are also uneven. Please help.
My baby is 6 days old, under a 150w HPS (mini sunburst) with 2 - 23w 2700K cfl and 2 - 23w 6500K. In Smart Pot container, 73deg. F, 40-50% Humidity
I'm using FoxFarm Ocean Forest potting soil, ( no added vermiculite or perlite ) and the nutes i was, and do use are the FoxFarm tripple pack.
I did use nutes from seedling until now. I put a stop to it and flushed.

Looks like heat stress or light poisoning. You have a fan lightly blowing right? Looks like an hps bulb for flower no MH color ie the bluer light for veg. How close is the light to the plant? Should be not nutes right now since the soil has some in it that will last it for first few weeks. What ph is the water going in and what is the ph of the run off.

1. i can't see the leaves under your light (repost)
2. never nute before 2-3 weeks..fox farm runs "hot" acidic/nutrient
3. i'm gonna guess nute burn

The bulb is 10" away from the canopy of the plant. I also have 2 fans blowing throughout the room. I have stopped all nute intake, and i do not know the pH levels at all. I need to invest in a tester.

He'll probably get better results by using a Veg bulb but many people use HPS from after the seedling phase to harvest, with no problems.
In fact, if a grower can only choose ONE LAMP a HPS is the best to get.

Hey man.... It's a 6 day old F/N plant! WTF???

How hot is it between the lamp and the top of your plant [canopy] ? Must stay below 84 f/29 c....
Never let it get over that... I think it's too hot under the HPS...

Don't be an idiot... KISS....
It's a 6 day old plant, don't project your negative life/feelings on to your plants...
It does not have a PH problem...
Do not "Flush" what ever you think a flush is at this time, don't do it...
Water only as plant needs it...
Don't over think it...
and don't listen to friends that have grown before...

photo 1.jpgphoto 2.jpgphoto 3.jpg here is my other one, who's right next to the one with severe curling. This one isnt nearly as bad, but the leaves can fold up and down.. and stay up as in one of the pics

If ur ballast is okay for metal hallide and hps, maybe get a MH bulb than switch back to hps for flower. And plants have a maximum light intake, so u technically can have too much light. I'm guessing light stress, heat stress and nutrient burn. Early plants don't like loads of nutes. I dont use nutrients til 2-4 weeks after popping out of the soil. Good luck and keep growing :joint:
