They are forbidden to join RIU.
Well that and they went extinct by the 18th century. Though they lived on as my "rival" high school's mascot. No idea how pacifism and oatmeal was supposed to instill fear in your enemies but they did whomp us pretty solidly in every sport.

This is another example of blatant Christian hypocrisy. Again, Jesus said it best: "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." God doesn't care about your complying with the law man made, so why does the church make such a fuss about it?
Here is a hint. The constitution. This ain't about what Jesus said, this is about what the constitution says. The federal government is specifically constrained from promoting or restraining a religion. Some Christians believe that contraception is a sin and that is their right. Personally, I don't much care what Jesus said but I do care that we be a nation of laws and that the constitution be respected and defended. Otherwise we will be ruled willy nilly, today by the weepy leftists, tomorrow by the bible thumping rightists.

watching the American left demonize Christian religious practices, odd that they generally rush to the rescue of Islam, has made me align myself with religion.
only christianity though, because you are a racist.

you will act all day long as if mulsim sharia law is some real threat even though it is not, while you defend christian sharia law to no end.

it might have something to do with why you were invited by a white supremacist to a white supremacy group and accepted.

Get a coherent argument. The catholic church is being forced to spend their money to buy a product that contradicts their religious beliefs. Not their taxes, their operating funds.

Wrong pope that was the last one. This is the "non-White" pope they trotted out with his "liberal" reforms once they realized they were hemorrhaging followers.

My Mexican sometimes ex sometimes not GF was absolutely livid when Francis got elected. Apparently Argentinians don't get along well with some other Hispanic groups due to a lot arrogance and some supposed superiority complex from the really high precentage of European blood they have. I dunno any of the veracity of this, but examples like the Hutus and Tutsis does give some sense of truth.

Your condemnation ought to be that you think religion, specifically Christianity, is a load of crap and is ugly and hateful.
christianity is just fine, it is people that distort christianity to spread bigotry and hatred that are the problem.

in other words, people just like you.

are you also for letting innocent children die because their parents don't believe in blood transfusions?

Just for any future post's I might make. I HATE EVERYONE EQUALY. I do not believe in any higher power or religion. I am not offended by anybody else's belief's,whatever work's for them is not my concern. I am not offended by someone saying merry Christmas, happy holiday's, happy honikah or any other greeting for any holiday. I most alway's vote conservative, but do not agree with many of their belief's, also agree with quite a few liberal belief's. Everything is so fucked everywhere and with everything,it's all broken and there is no fixing any of it and I believe that, that's exactly the way they want it. The sissification of this country is absolutely pathetic.Everyone has to like everyone and no one can offend anybody, someone bullying you? hurry,go tell, what someone is thinking!?, call the law! I believe that it is still my right to not like anybody or any of anyone's belief's if I choose not to.

show me one christian who is being forced to buy birth control for themselves.. just one, and i'll buy your argument..
just because one of the things on offer through insurance companies happens to be birth control, no one is forcing anyone who doesn't want it nor someone to use it, who doesn't want it..
seems like a moot point imo..
i also would never sue anyone, yet i have to pay for x amount of money i can sue for, is this against my constitution?

My point was that the Catholic Church is ignoring Christ in the first place in raising their man-made dogma above his teachings.

If you want to talk about the constitution, I think you need to re-read it. Freedom of religion is not freedom from government mandates. Quakers don't get to opt out of paying a portion of their tax bills because they're pacifists. Likewise, the Catholic Church doesn't get to say "Contraception is a sin!" and avoid complying with the government's healthcare mandates. The freedom to be Catholic is freedom from persecution on that basis, not freedom to follow only the laws supposedly compatible with the Catholic faith. Requiring that contraception be covered in insurance policies is not religious persecution.

desert ballerina does not understand the difference between free practice of religion and being allowed to impose your religious beliefs upon others.

It's almost like I'm forced to spend my tax dollars on things I don't approve of, like drone strikes on civilians, but guess what, still gotta pay.

quakers are still among us, quietly moving unseen through our society, concealing their nature from all who might peer too closely.

thats right they still exist, a shadowy cabal of dangerous madmen pulling the strings, and controlling all who dare reach for the seats of power.

often the only way to reveal the hidden quaker in your midst is to look for the guy who cant stop quivering...

And Kill Him Before He Destroys Us All!
