and people like let's say, umm, quakers, who happen to be pacifist, i don't hear them screaming the fact that their taxes go for defense spending, even though they're pacifist, as being unconstitutional..

They are forbidden to join RIU.

I'd like to be there when you do it, with that lily white skin of yours, there's no telling how many teeth you'll spit out.
This is another example of blatant Christian hypocrisy. Again, Jesus said it best: "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." God doesn't care about your complying with the law man made, so why does the church make such a fuss about it?
watching the American left demonize Christian religious practices, odd that they generally rush to the rescue of Islam, has made me align myself with religion.

Here is a hint. The constitution. This ain't about what Jesus said, this is about what the constitution says.
wow. this spun out of control fast.
from "Hillbilly makes crude remark about homosexuals" to "Fuck Yeah! make the pope put on a rubber!"
but then he really should wear one, those young boys dont need any STD's to go with their traumatized psyches (and butts)
Your condemnation ought to be that you think religion, specifically Christianity, is a load of crap and is ugly and hateful.
Get a coherent argument. The catholic church is being forced to spend their money to buy a product that contradicts their religious beliefs. Not their taxes, their operating funds.

Here is a hint. The constitution. This ain't about what Jesus said, this is about what the constitution says. The federal government is specifically constrained from promoting or restraining a religion. Some Christians believe that contraception is a sin and that is their right. Personally, I don't much care what Jesus said but I do care that we be a nation of laws and that the constitution be respected and defended. Otherwise we will be ruled willy nilly, today by the weepy leftists, tomorrow by the bible thumping rightists.
show me one christian who is being forced to buy birth control for themselves.. just one, and i'll buy your argument..

just because one of the things on offer through insurance companies happens to be birth control, no one is forcing anyone who doesn't want it nor someone to use it, who doesn't want it..
seems like a moot point imo..
i also would never sue anyone, yet i have to pay for x amount of money i can sue for, is this against my constitution?
Well that and they went extinct by the 18th century. Though they lived on as my "rival" high school's mascot. No idea how pacifism and oatmeal was supposed to instill fear in your enemies but they did whomp us pretty solidly in every sport.
