The Appearence of Perfection....HOW ?

Often, when reading the threads on RIU, posters uploaded pictures will show plants that have the appearance of perfection.
Even canopies, symmetrical side branches, deep healthy colour....
I understand that even canopies and symmetry of branches can be achieved with pruning/training techniques.

But what does make me wonder, however, are plants that have finished 6 weeks of Vegging (or even be towards the end of the flower phase) without one single yellowing leaf....?????

My 9 plants look very healthy BUT, occasionally, a hand of leaves fades to yellow or becomes speckled in appearance.

The plants in the pictures with perfect looks....
Do they look this perfect because any imperfections have been pruned away?
Or do these growers have enough skill to grow a plant for 6 to 12 weeks without a single leaf yellowing???

Is it a matter of cosmetic pruning or genetics and perfect growing...???

May have removed ugly foliage before photo?

Feed properly, avoid salt buildups and pests and you can have perfect plants.

Should still have fans yellow from bottom up in late flower due to low nitrogen levels required in late flower.

Chances are they are just cleaned up as leaves die. However when your grow is dialed in near ideally, minimal leaf death will occur besides their natural lifespan. Leaves aren't meant to live throughout the plants entire life. No way to prevent them from dying and being replaced eventually, but you can slow it down by making sure only ones that are DONE die and not any unnecessary ones.

Summary: A combination of cleaning dead/dying leaves and growing well enough that nothing unnecessary dies before it is supposed to.

But even with the best of everything, yellowing/dying leaves are a FACT of the plants cycle of existence...?
And the photo's of PERFECT LOOKING PLANTS will most likely have had some cosmetic pruning done, before being photographed...?

Only time you should have yellowing of fans is later flowering.

If your vegging plants look bad your feeding improperly, dealing with salt buildups or have something else like too much heat, pests or disease.

Yeah I'm with that...c'mon y'all let's see some ugly ass grows... Errybody got all these beautiful pics of perfect plants; it's just unnatural I say; kind of like fake tits- asthetically pleasing yet lacking authenticity
