Strain Help Please

are female seeds bad? Was planning on only buying feminized. But in truth ive never read much on this subject. My luck with getting females SUCKS. first grow 12 plants, 1 female. Second time 15 plants 2 females.

Barnies bad rep comes from his cup wining seeds being nothing like discribed. Blue cheese though is top notch the rest I would avoid.

Fems are ok for cropping rather than keeping-breeding

So if im reading this correctly I couldnt keep a clone from each fem seed as a bonsai mum? Or i just couldnt keep the original seed plant? Sounds like i will have to go back to the drawing board on my just for me strain. And ill get my blue cheese from big budda

You can keep a mom from a fem seed especially if its a bomb pheno....but I have had zero luck finding a keeper in fems so far....from female seeds and greenhouse...like I said no personal experience with barneys fems just a blue cheese that had already gone thru the selection process I assume because I got it from a good grower, and it turned out well had to clean my scissors like every 5 mins .....like I can't honestly tell you out of a barneys 5 pack the plants will all be uniform phenos.....and I'm pretty sure it was barneys and not a fem but not 100% sure.

So do you have better luck with regular seeds finding the phenos you want?

Ive kept fem mums, But they did not seem to be as vigorous as regs.
Mostly because clones (mums) have been well stressed before being bred with.( Look at cali cons hermie %%)

Blue cheese I ad for a few years before i noticed anything noticeable in it.

Greenhouse fems suck, only fem seed I ever found a male in was bubba kush, trainwreck hermed to fuck.
Barnies fems Ive only ad Blue cheese and from them I would have kept every plant if I could have, but as Ive siad before Blue Cheese are easy genetics
(Not hard to fuck up) so nomatter who they come from should be fire stuff. Ive recomended and shared my clone many (Here) times and they were all well pleased with barnies BC. But I wont put a recomendations on any other BF seed
