Dynagro is under-rated as fuck

My boy had plants grown in Subcool supersoil and sunshine/hydroton with Dynagro side by side this summer. Now they weren't the same strains--he didn't test them or anything, he just only had a certain amount of each media.

Anyway, neither of us would say we noticed a huge difference in the end result, and he didn't do a real thorough flush cos many of the plants had to come down suddenly

I don't use Hydro Hydro if that is what you mean, honestly I just bought RO a year ago because I don't like Soil and I never have gone back. I haven't had a issue at all and I've grown maybe over 10 plants this year with it.

This is my first time using Jacks Classic and also my first time growing a extremely large 4ft indica and I don't check PH or PPM and havent for over a year and (Cross my fingers) this is my best plant yet, I will update with pics in a few.)

So I can use my Jacks 20-20-20 as a 1 part hydro nute?
 
As you can see I'm over feeding by a ton (Compared to what was suggested for me on the bucket & by growers) and the only issue I have is a tiny bit of yellow tip which is considered extremely minor compared to what real nute burn is.

Only 2 weeks into Flower.

So subcools super soil mixed with sunshine mix n fed Dynagro didnt kick ass? Thats a lot of money to spend on a grow, just sayin

Wouldn't recommend it. It's NOT complete as opposed to DG which is plus the N source of Jacks is urea. Nothing wrong with urea if it's low biuret (free of impurities) but you want a nitrate form of N for hydro.
 
good to know UB, do you have a link to anything that discusses what forms of nitrogen, and other elements are better in soil//better in hydro? Or is it much more complicated than that?

I'm sure a quick search against UB on the terms 'son' and 'noob' would return thousands of results and serve as a starting point.

I've read a few threads on here.....ok....a fuckton of them....and it seems that these threads always start out well-intended and full of information, but at some point EVERY thread degrades to name-calling and making it personal.....from all sides.

Maybe there should be a post-limit or page-limit on all threads to prevent them from turning to shit as this one has as all the others.
 
Best thread ever started on this forum is the H&G thread, its full of people that use the line (or people planning on using the line ) that do nothing but talk about the line and share ideas. Its funny how growing a plant outdoors in the ground is an "advanced growing technique" yet growing indoors under artificial light in a hydro set up with synthetic nutes is for "dumb newbies" who dont know any better. lol Good fun.

I understand hydro grows plants much quicker than soil, but there's so many moving parts that much can go wrong, not just for one plant, but all of them if the grower screws up. I guess I'm still enjoying keeping everything simple

Personally, I prefer following the KISS stuff as it works for me as you can see from my previous post

I too have read post of new growers killing off all their plants by being way off on their PPM, their PH, etc. etc with hydro....and they end up buying swag from the dirt-bag on the corner.

I personally don't see hydro as the logical first step into growing....that's just my view. If you feel hydro is as simple as soil grows, then there's nothing I can say to change your mind. I have an IQ of 142 and even after a year of growing don't feel comfortable with all the in's-and-out's of hydro.

Hydro isn't rocket science, but it does over complicate an otherwise simple process.
Soil/soilless buffers, not hydo. You fuck up on hydro and don't catch it quickly, the lovely fried plants appear.

It is an attractive hobby, but like Ben says, good luck with the machines.

Only a Rube Goldberg type like me, with a bit of Hobby money, would begin with a hydro setup. But, I had fun and that is what counts.

It's just RIU. Yeah, I'm rough with some of these people. Why? Because they deserve it. You don't see me undressing and berating others at Riddle3m do you Roach? No need to. Those are grownups over there that respect others' opinions, plus most are veteran growers and know better than to suck up to snake oils and just plain old bullshit that is so prevalent at RIU.

Another beef. The mods here need some training. I had a totally benign post removed just now when others more than justify removal. What was the "infraction"? Posting two opposing points made by the Maladjusted Village Idiot accusing me of derailing posts and then in the next post he says he never reads my posts. I think we got some stoned mod with his finger on the trigger and logic that went out the door.

I mention Riddle3M in a PM to somebody trying to help with an answer that is posted there and the RIU NSA snoops on my PM's. I get not one but two PM's from the owner here warning me not to refer to the Riddle site, this is in a fuckin' PM which they shouldn't be monitoring in the first place! So, admin takes away my PM privileges and my ability to see the names of those that give me Rep, nor can I give Rep to others.

Tell ya what, if my pinned threads, posts, images and dedication to helping others at this place didn't run so deep, for so long, I'd be outta here and never coming back. Too many shitheads.

I dont want to read anymore about how great Advanced Nutrients is since clearly RIU is getting kick backs from them. What's the point of this website if you cannot have open discussions without getting censored or having overpriced bullshit products thrown in our faces 24/7
