Mother plant growth under Fluro

I would like to take 8 cuttings every two weeks from a mother plant, need 6 p/cycle - allowance for a couple not making it. I would like the mother plant under fluorescent lighting 24/7. This allows me to keep the mother area for raising clones also - keeps the heat down and hope to get away from using big fans etc that is associated with HPS lighting.

Do you think if I had two mother plants, would there be enough growth to take 6-8 inches (150 - 200mm) from them every 4 weeks?

The amount of cuttings that can safely be taken from a Mother is directly governed by the size of that Mother.
Is it tall or short, lanky or bushy....?
How old and 'woody' is it?

I use eight 4 foot daylight tubes 24L/0d. I supplement with a 150w mercury vapour metal hallide 18L/6d. I run my clones in the same room as my moms under two four foot cool white tubes. I can do six moms in a rock trough using drip feeders on timers effectively. I can put out 200+ clones a week without any damage to my moms. The thing is it takes the same wattage to effectively run just one mom so.

It helps to know what type of plant....? Indica, Sativa....? What strain......?
Do you have any experience at growing?

Use to grow outdoor - pulling in 10p or roughly two fadges full weighing an awful lot when green, all by myself also - did that for 12 years. As I am getting older, my body is breaking down - young mans game when planting over hills. No grow experience indoor. Use to cut my own clones for outdoor however.

Strain - would be hoping for indica - 8 foot sativas is for the outdoors :) Thou have been thinking about sativa for that height then straight under 12/12?

Access to verified clones / strains / seeds in NZ is a little hard, well for me. I can call on two people who have little ops and see what they have.

I am just setting up the system. So now my attention is on the mother plant and her needs. Thinking she would be in dirt to make things easier, not sure. Main grow will be flood table.
