Strain with highest CBD content?

Just wondering if anyone knows what strain has the highest CBD content and what that % is. I always thought that over 3-5% was ridiculously high but now I'm hearing that strains have 13-15%??

Is that even possible?

Either way I wouldn't want to smoke a strain with that much CBD, this is just for curiosity's sake :D

Happy growing/smoking:weed::bigjoint:

no clue the best way to look it up is use a data base for seziures since CBDs are being linked to reducing the numbers of them in some ppl

http://en.seedfinder.eu/database/

was given to me good luck ...........note not all strains are listed but the ones that are u can falow the genetic tree of the plant

Was actually looking at the lineage of deathstar on seedfinder earlier! great site!

Should have mentioned that I've tried searching for this numerous times and either just found ppl making claims w/ no tests to back them up and a bunch of other stupid bullshit. Really surprised that it didn't just pop right up.

Thanks BWG! looking for actually % though. Have you heard of any for pennywise?

With high CBD strains from seed it is pheno dependent, I am not aware of a truly stabilized strain. It is hard to find dispensaries or seed banks that test the actual %CBD. There is one dispensary that tests in my area, they have a clone only "sour tsunami #3" that is 12+% CBD and very little THC (.43% tested if I remember right). I am growing some high CBD seeds now as well as a Harlequin clone (8+% CBD 8+%THC).
I believe Charlotte's Web is the highest CBD strain (Colorado) at 20+% CBD and under .5% THC.

Damn also now that I think about it, doesn't THC convert to CBD with maturity?

If so, is there a genetic "wall" that stops this conversion at a certain point? Which would in turn limit the amount of CBD the strain can contain?

Otherwise you could let a strain go until everything converts to CBD(theoretically of course, not sure what happens when you let them go that long)?

I hope someone can clear this up for me. really quite curious now.

I run a strain called Royal Highness aka White QueenHer CBD is one of those said to be very high, good for people with chronic pain. THC is extremely high as well....said to be the queen of all white strains, hence the name Royal HIghness....A bit of a snot in the grow room, she is far more beautiful in veg and bud than many others.

Thc does not convert to Cbd, it converts to CBN if you let it go too long.
CBD is determined genetically.
