seedling develping yellowing on leaves

this is my first grow. im trying to grow some white widow under a 400watt MH light using a reflector and ballast, my soil mix consists of scotts potting soil which i bought at home depot because it didnt contain more than .02% of any nutrient levels on the bags label, 1/3 perlite, and about a cup of bone meal, and a cup of blood meal in each 16" pot. i havent added anything else, been watering everyday, once in the a.m., and once in the evening. the grow room temp is about 80degrees f.

i didnt have any way to test the PH level untill today. i bought a PH soil/moisture level meter on ebay that arrived and it said that i have a PH level of about 7.5. I went to home depot and bought some garden sulphur and added about half a teasoon, which i sprinkled evenly on top of the soil, then watered again. before i added the sulphur, i looked at my seedlings which have only been planted in the soil mixture now 6 days, and the two fan leaves i think you call them, have started to yellow :evil:. here's a picture-


is this normal? can anyone help me with some advice or insight on how to correct my problem? also, after adding the sulphur and watering, 20 minutes later my meter still said the PH level was at 7.5. does it take time for the sulphur to affect the PH? please help!!

Go Spend $ 17.00 on a bag fox farm Ocean Forest. Transplant into that medium, no adding bone meal or anything, it has plenty bat guano, bone meal etc. Your babies will turn around in less than 4 days. And when you transplant it try and put it in the pot you plan on useing throughout, and bury it up to the first set of fake leaves, just below the fan leaves or first set of real leaves.

that's not really an option for about a week, i went from having no grow materials to everything i have now, including 3 baby white widows and a sour diesel my friend have me. if u look close in my pic, the leave tips are what are yellowing. any other suggestions or answers to my questions??? regarding the sulphur too.

ok, so i did what you said. took my last sixty bucks, went to my local hydroponics shop, bought 2 bags of ocean forest and a bottle of superthrive. repotted all the plants, and in my 2 gallon watering pitcher, added about half a teaspoon of superthrive, watered the plants, and sprinkled some garden sulphur near the base of the stems. any other suggestions or am i doing the right thing?

why do you keep adding sulfur when you don't know what it does?? it lowers the ph of your soil.
seems to me your seedling has nute burn from all that stuff you added.
could be deficiency if it's yellow but i highly highly doubt that cuz you put bone and blood meal.
ffof is hot soil. some seedlings can handle it some can't. i wouldn't take that chance.
should start with happy frog or light warrior for seeds. adding 1/4 strength to 1/2 in a week or two after.

i know this is an old post. but no one put anything informative.
