  • Seeing that I now have a friend in SS&P, maybe I'll brave the waters a little more often ;)
Cn hasn't visited for a bit. But I'm sure he'll be along again. I was actually thinking how hysterically funny it is see 4 is getting setup. He thinks this is 'normal' weather ROFLMAO!! this is like record cold for us. LOL
Trust me Eye,I'm no writer by any stretch of the imagination.More of a "glorified note taker".
Hey Eye.Yeah, been a while.I've been around.Just hanging back a bit.I had an important paper that I've been trying to finish since last year.Takes me forever.Finished it,then was asked to write another.Feels good.A real privilege for me.But,yeah, been checking in from time to time.Hoping to get back in the "game",as i'm not as rushed for this paper as last time.Anyhow, thanks so much for the welcome back, and will be talking to ya soon.
Well, yes, in that I think all complexity contains a nugget of true. And as you know, in a certain very large way, I think that only super-Self of us all, exists in Now. So, that all the elements of myth and numbers, divinations and miracles, exist in and outside of time as manifest of Self, Now. :)
I just got a idea about the Trinity and Self. Father, Son, Ghost, right?

    The Present Self is Father
    Future Self is Son
Past Self is the Holy Ghost?

    :)
Yes. I was just thinking about that. We need to stretch our definition of sound to include all known and unknown vibrations. But, I think that is the Word. The Entirety.
    Forgot to ask:
I see others as avatars along the way.Just wondering if you do as well?(almost 100% sure I know your answer)
Would like to discuss this with you soon,if your interested.
In the Atheist thread, you posted that Jesus & Buddha are both avatars, each wielding it's own 'sword',or 'ray' (from the same source).
I see them the same way.Didn't want to get the thread derailed to discuss this, just found it interesting. Was wondering if you've read any of the early gnostics, and their spiritual views of Jesus.Amazing that only a few years after his "death" that some thought of him as only spirit, and never having a physical body.An avatar, for sure.I think Paul(Saul of Tarsus) either recognized this,or influenced it.Not completely sure of which.Definitely see that form of gnosticism within his writings.I think that's why so many people have a problem with Paul.
I Like the analogy of "light" and "doorway" you wrote.Very, very interesting....I need to study a little on this comparison.Might take a lil bit.Trying to finish writing a paper,so the heads filled with too much information as it is.8-)
    Anyways...thanks Eye:-P.Talk to ya soon
one is not born at the time of creation nor disturbed at the time of dissolution..

Doesn't sound like afterlife or past lives either. More than we know Self is Attained. Very much rules out Time and Space, as well, doesn't it? The Gita is full of this almost too large to understand, Self describing to us, the little, confused, "selves."

I like that, ...all myth describes Self? Is that it? :)
When I read in Scripture, I see Self to self dialog.

How about this from the Gita? Chap. 14 The Three Modes of Material Nature. Verse 2.

By becoming fixed in this Knowledge, one can attain to the transcendental nature, which is like My own nature. Thus established, one is not born at the time of creation nor disturbed at the time of dissolution.
Well, are you saying we only add some personal meaning? That is, something else, Other, is creating, and we add meaning? Or do we and we alone create the context? Without context, no meaning. right?

Do we need or simply desire a Creator? If Self alone creates the context across all time and space, regarding only the Now, my Conception needs no more than that. Self is all. Know Self. :)
