Just wired two qb132 and want to make sure it’s right, I’ve only wired 288’s in series.
Basically just 2 leads from the driver positive and negative going to each board, is that right? Thanks!
2 days apart, pre flush and now. Eye sore still but the color is returning and they all absolutely exploded with growth, I few others that damn near tripled in size. Going to start feeding Megacrop @ 500 ppm when thevsoil dries out a little more from the flush.
Yeah it’s just stfa
Yeah it’s iust stranded wire that is soldered. I got some solid core and went to remove it using the pointed end of a zip tie, its what I’ve always used as it’s pretty gentle on the plastic, this one just snapped off. The boards are still under warranty. Never had this...
Was wiring a board up and had to take the wire out, I’ve done this countless times but when I went to take this wire out the connector snapped off. What now?
Edit: Going to contact HLG but has anybody had this happen and what did you do?
Hey there, just opened the tent and saw this, never seen it before so I almost though it was genetic? Looking around it looks like an Iron deficiency perhaps?
6.4 Ph, In Happy Frog and pearlite, rh 68-73
So essentially they function the same, just wired differently?
I guess the big question really is what is the next best driver without maxing these things out, Obviously I don’t know a lot, I’m trying to learn but I’m expanding faster than I’m learning and am already needing to wire more lights...

And this, which is what they recommend with the kit...
Yeah that video is what opened my eyes to how durable these boards really are. So really when matching drivers what exactly am I looking for? I have a simple understanding of roughly how it works but not grasping it entirely.
Not exactly trying to max them out, just a thought that occurred to me after I realized it really doesn’t get hot at 85 watts per board plus I’d like to use the driver for another qb build with smaller 132 boards. 102 watts per board with the 2100a correct?
I’ve seen a few people recommend to...
So I purchased the triple slate 2 with 3 qb288, and I understand HLG plays it way safe with maxing them out. I don’t know much about them, it was easy to wire up but I don’t know much about watts.
They recommend the HLG-320h-1750a so that’s what I bought. After using this thing, the heatsink...
Why are you getting upset because HLG didn’t email me back and literally not even a shred of customer service for 8 days after spending $300 with them lol? It is what it is. I’m not bashing anybody, this isn’t a false rumor I am spreading, they gave me zero customer service it is as simple as that.
Don’t justify their lack luster customer support, I shouldn’t need to pick up the phone because they aren’t replying to my emails. I’ve dealt with several other companies that will reply within the hour every single time and I gladly do business with them because of that. Great lights? Sure...
Even HLG Canada has bad customer service? Weird trend lol. I purchased 3 qb288 with a triple heatsink, no shipping information update in 7 days, no emails, nada. Come to find out they were out of stock (In stock on website) and apparently thought they didn’t need to return any of my emails...
