tystikk, I think you might be the one to ask this. Two questions: 1) How large a diameter should I make the screen that I will place between the VERTICAL light and the plants? 2) Should I use MH in veg or use HPS to encourage taller growth instead of wider growth? 2x600w HID lights in 48" cooltube

Hey bro, not sure if this is the PM function with this new website..... anyway, I'm buying an 860w Phillips CDM and a vertical air cooled hood. I'm not familiar with HID lights having previously been LED grower. What magnetic ballast would you suggest? If this light works out it may help me scale up in near future. I'm going to need to supplement lighting in some greenhouses....
