hey widow maker! i am also a newbie an i have looked at you ways of growing an im not that hardcore on it yet but im just trying to grow some bud just for personal use thats all i want to do an i need to keep it very stealthy i have a box with fans an what not but i also read that people have been growing pot with cfl's an i just need some tips to keep the plant about 18 inches no bigger any tips would be helpful

Hello Widow! I am a newbie grower and have been doing some research before I start my babies up. Your How to Grow thread answered ALL my questions except one! Thanks for all the knowledge before hand man, it is GREATLY appreciated. My question is this: I understand the amount of nutrients to use, and how to get the right PH for my water, but im confused on exactly what to do with the nutrients. Do i mix them in with the water or pour directly into the soil? and if i mix in with the water, do i do it before i get the PH right or after!?! Sorry man, this is the only thing holding me up and I would greatly appreciate any help you could give!

Sorry to bother you, but when I open a page the messages are jumbled: Normally, the first post is from the person who started the string, but now it's not like that. How do I restore it to the way it was? I can't recall changing anything at all as for the settings. Thanks for any help, because the forums are nothing but confusing as they are now.

I've been doing my reaserch on this site for a couple of weeks and have started a small grow, I have a slight problem in which I posted a thread. since i see you know what your talking about i was wondering if you could please read my post and give me some advice, thanks a million before hand!

What do you mean by soaking the rockwool cubes in clonex
I only have clonex.
Haven't cloned any plant so far
by soaking should I understand that you mix clonex with water and then place the rockwool cubes in that solution and let it sit there for...how long?
or ?

Dear Widow Maker,
I'm a 60 year old retiree and I just wanted to see if I could grow MJ. My wife got some seeds from a cancer victim and I was on my way. I used your "how to" contest entry as my guide. I'm learning as I go. My first 8 plants art about 18" tall but they don't look like yours. They are very tall and have two leafs every 3 - 4" apart going up the main stem. I tried cloning the lower leafs. They died and the part left on the stem shrivelled up and died. The strain is White Widow. Could you look at some Pic's and see what I am doing wrong?

P.S. I'm not that good on a computer, so I'm not sure if you will get this.

can you grow in natural soil without any added chemicals or do you need these things?

I see that you have been a member for quite some time and I have read many of your posts. I have a simple question. My babies are 2 weeks old tomorrow. They are Purple Jems that I acquired through The Attitude. Any reason why I don't have even one full set of leaves. I am getting a little nervous. This is my first grow and I thought that the Jems were supposed to be easy to grow. Do you have any advice?

hey i was wondering if you can help i ordered these seeds from amsterdam and they were sopposed be white widow i got three females.look very nice but one problom when you smoke it there is no high did i get ripped our did i do something to cause the plant to have no thc.

Hi. i am having problems posting pics and i am in desperate need of some advice from the pics i am trying to upload. when i try to upload them i get a little exclamation symbol and when i point to the symbol it gives an error message about "ioError" and bubbles and false something or other. after the symbol appears nothing happens and i cant seem to figure out how to move past this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have 3' x 3" grow room.
I have 95 cfm fan attached to can filter which blows thru my 400watt MH lite.
my intake comes from in duct fan 3 ft. outside my apt window.
My heat is 87 degrees and humidity is 29%. how to cool this room down --way too hot n dry!

Hi hows it going buddy? I have read a couple of your post and its very clear that you are highly skilled in the all forms of growing mary j. I myself am very new to the scene, i was wondering if you would be able to assit me in growing the best mj around. I have read most things that i need to know about growing, i also have a wilma 4 pot system, a 400 watt hps light with ballast and reflector hood, i have a load of clay pebbles rockwool. I know that i need to buy timers, airstones, thermometer and hygrometer. but what else would i need to have for a decent start? i am going to amsterdam in 5 days also which is wer i am going to pick up a whole load of seeds for my grow. Your help would be very much appreciated.
