The speed was very good... the germination rate wasn't great... I grew out a lot and just kept the strongest, healthiest plants. I will know in a few days the ratio of female to male... I'm actually hoping I get a few males so I can make a little wiggle room in my grow room. I do see some...

I currently have no auto-flowering strains. I am growing 'normal' plants and I wanted to introduce some auto-flowering plants into the mix, therefore I will still have to switch back and forth from 12-12 and 24-0.

But surely they're still susceptible to stress and hermi-ing... no? I have read that they are tougher strains than most, I was mostly wondering about their tendency to hermi or stall due to stress.

Can you start flowering an auto-flower strain on 12-12 with HPS and then switch halfway through to a 24-0 schedule with a Metal Halide? Would that stress the plant too much? Anyone try this? I was trying to think of a use for the auto-flowering strain and figured it could be useful for starting...

No pics, I'm a little reluctant to post pics on the net. They aren't stringy at all, look lovely in fact. (I also got some super silver haze, hindu kush and white rhino from cannabisseeds, plus some G-13 and a canadian government medicinal strain.)

600 is more efficent of all three sizes, more lums per Watt, best bang for the buck. Even a 600 and a 400 would be better than a 1000. (less heat, better light distribution, can get the lights closer to the plants)
