Organic no till, probiotic, knf, jadam, vermicomposting, soil mixes, sips etc... Q & A

Nitrogen fixing bacteria use nirtogen from the air and combine it with oxygen or hydrogen to form a plant available nirtogen. I dont think it fixes nitrogen toxic soil. If thats your issue mix with some base soil to dilute it. Cover crops such as clover and legumes are nitrogen fixers too...

So feed my worms something a little different a few days ago and they love it. Pumpkin, apple, little bit powder egg shell and baked bud yes bud. Its fall aka harvest season and some of the outdoor buds had bugs or mold so i baked it at 200 for about 20 minutes (assuming i am killing any bugs or...

About to bin my 3 month old plant!

no perlite or any aeration? i understand there is many ways to grow a plant but i believe a potting mix needs good aeration to prevent root rot, soil compaction, and poor water/air retention, and other issues.

About to bin my 3 month old plant!

no bugs either? overwatering can lock out P, plant does look droopy which could be over watering symptom. too much iron and/or zinc can also. if those aren't the issue and your environment is on point, you could try watering with a more acidic water maybe like 5.5.

About to bin my 3 month old plant!

if not bugs, it looks like a bad phosphorus deficiency, pH in coco for P should be around 6.

    How much compressed coco coir?

12.5 liters, lol about 1/2 cubic foot of each. not 100% on coco brick to expanded volume (may very brand to brand) but i would say a 1kg brick should do it. or buy a premix that is already coco/perlite.

Show me your worm bins and compost

i too was worried when they popped up. however MY brown/red mites do NOT bother the worms, they even avoid walking on the worms. white mites didn't seem to care about the worms but would walk across them. both seem to be composters as they are drawn to the food scraps. the white mites did...

    Almost ready to harvest?

way too early, i mean its your plant do what you like. she still has weight to put on, THC to develop (she probably does have much if any yet), checking color of trichomes is the standard these days but old school is when the pistols (hairs) turn color and curl up. flower time is typically 8-10...
