An LG 10,0000 BTU portable with a custom manifold to split the output. It is controlled by a thermostat inside the fridge. It has turned out to be a very efficient setup.

That is correct ! It was my original root tub when I first built the fridge. Since I chopped a hole that size in the middle shelf, I wanted to keep it neat and incorporate it somehow, then the A/C conduit came to mind.

The reservoir is right below the root tub. The wide but shallow res soup gets cooled more efficiently. The pump takes the soup up to the root tub, where it is highly aerated, feeding the plants then down the tall drain and back to the res to continue the cycle. You can see another A/C duct on...

It is basically RDWC. The root tub (the one with the square across it) is inside, and sticks down thru the surround tub just so I can force the cold air around and under it and the res. Look to the left on the surround tub, the cold air exits thru that hole into the freezer area. Then the cold...

Everything running just perfect down below. We are 84 outside and I turned the thermostat UP to 80 (grow room) and still maintain a res temp of 66. The shallower res and the forced cold air is allowing the soup to be cooled more efficiently. Just gotta get some ORCA tape to seal up the bottom area .

Very cool, It reminds me of the white plastic material on the inside of the fridge. I need to get some of the tape tho. You can see where I needed the height, I took out the plastic and foam in the res area and I would hope the orca tape would seal it up good ??? And the parabolic...

What is the white material you lined the box with? And what did you seal the seams with? I put the same light reflector inside my fridge... LoL
