No no, sorry, what I meant was, right now, my veg light is on 24 hours a day, the veg area is just a corner of the spare bedroom. I also have a 4x4 tent for flowering in the same room, it's light is on 12/12. My question about light discipline was about turning the bedroom ceiling light on...

That would save some electricity, cut down on heat if the veg light was off when the flower light is on... all round good idea. Light discipline isn't an issue right? I could come and go turning on the room light? I flower in a tent, veg in the open

Talking Photo Period plants here.. I know we all generally run veg either 24/day or some schedule where the lights are on more than 12 hours a day, say 16 on and 8 off. I run 24 hours... Then when we switch to flower, we switch the lights to 12 on and 12 off (generally) to induce...

But your overall yield was probably way more than double what it would be indoors, so you still come out ahead no?
