Whew...good. I've decided I'm to old and have too many aches and pains to do hydro in my set up. I am required to lift a full res about 26" inches over the lip of the garden tub and that nearly kills me. So...coco coir?

This reminds me of when I was little. My grandmother worked in a factory that made chalks, oils, and other art mediums. She used to bring home the broken pieces for us kids. Oh, we had bins and bins of oil crayons, art chalk, pencils, graphite sticks -- thousands of broken pieces in hundreds...

Damn, you are more like me than I realized... I do a fair amount of syphoning too, in order to feed my girls. DynaGro ain't yummy either :lol:

But if you are like me (and I think you are), you'd rather have the fun of making it anyway. If you can save $$$ it's obviously worth building it yourself. If you can only save $, it's still worth doing it yourself! And if you can only break even, what the heck, it was fun!
