well, i use the ridiculous "Paper Towel Method" and i have actually become pretty successful at it. but i would never recommend it as THE way to germinate seeds because a lot of shit can go wrong and ruin good seeds. i know i've had better success with the paper towel than just floating seeds...

if you have a healthy rooting system, you should be able to go 12/12 with no problems. i have some girls i just put into flower that were only about 3-4 inches tall and they've already doubled in size. i don't think flowering early affects potency at all, just yield.
