Removing the fan leaves take's away from te feeding source of the branch it is supporting. It stresses the plant out or stuns it as it was put. I only remove the one's that are turning yellow at the bottom of the plant. At this point they have out-lived their purpose. As much as we have tried...

I like to leave some of the sugar leaaves on for flavor when rolling joints. I will trim more off when they're done, I had R. shoulder surgery go bad in 08' and can only do so much as once. I tried to get as many off as possible until my shoulder went out. :-) They do look sloppy, but still...

As soon as I saw the mushie buds I harvested. Luckily they were done enough, they had just turned. The bud rot only affected a few bud's on Big Mo'. IT IS VERY GOOD MEDICINE!!!! I have what's in this container and a few jars of the smaller hash making buds. I'll let them cure for 4-5 days...

I harvested all three at first sight.

Other's say it is bud rot due to being around open water, which they were. It makes sense now that I think about it, but, it doesn't explain why only one out of three would be effected?

Thank God I caught it before it spread any further. As it is, it only got 4 small buds. There was standing water around it. The wierd part was it only affected one out of the three plants? I'll keep that in mind next year, but for now I'm going to enjoy getting my fingers sticky. Keepin' it...
